Jasdip, I really appreciate that. I was 58 the year my daughter died. When I look back at pictures of us taken that year, I look really young. People commented on it all the time. These days I look at recent photos and cringe! I used to say I'd look older all at once, and I guess that's what happened. But thank you. :-)

The editor I sent the photo to is a whiz with Photoshop. He can probably give the picture a whole new background (a library?) if he thinks it's necessary. And writing that makes me think I probably should have used the library where I work.

The purple flower is veronica, but can't remember the name of the lily!
