Then you missed a great season last autumn? I think it was, enjoyspring. The all-star show was really good, every dance, every week. Unless I remember it wrong. For the first show, I really really enjoyed Amber's dance. She can really move! I really like it when they make me think I want to dance! (I can't, not at all). I'm not too fond of Bill Nye or Keyshawn, but the rest are ok or are good. Last night was adequate. I wasn't blown away by anyone's dance. The two best dances I've ever seen are the Psycho dance with Ricki Lake/Derek Hough, but it was ousted from my all time favorite to second favorite, by last autumn's all-stars Shawn Johnson/Derek Hough's who broke all the rules with the trampoline quickstep. But this season? Nothing so far. Amber's first is pretty memorable though.

All athletes and a very short season. Wonder why? Loved Adam Rippon in the Olympics and I remember Johnny Damon from his stint with the Red Sox. Everyone knows Kareem Abdul-Jabbar & Tonya Harding.

scottie mom, thank you so much. theresa21, I decided to use the marble slab on the backsplash and pure white quartz for the countertop so that I could cut lemons, pour red wine, etc. without minding the countertops too much. The quartz really is low-maintenance. When something does stain it, Mr. Clean Magic Eraser gets it out. Reesebuttercup, I love the shape of the Riverby. The rounded corners are easy to clean.

Julianne Hough said last year that she would not be on this season. But now that it's been announced that her boyfriend will be one of the contestants, I wonder if she'll be his partner? Or would that be an unfair advantage? :-)

Julienne won't be his partner but the article I read indicated that she would be on the show competing against him.

Is this the best they can do? I'm disappointed with this line up more than in previous seasons. :(

All dance shows appeal to me, but I'm thinking I won't mind missing a few of these.

Another one here , no one on the list gets my juices flowing. Was there a list of the pro-dancers? I missed Ashley last season. But wouldn't blame her if she didn't want to come back after their pairing her with that (c)rap clod a couple seasons ago. Dottie

Ty Murry retired from bull riding in 2002.
He is the President of the PBR and is also announcer for the PBR events.
For now the title of Jewel's husband is a fitting one.

Oh that's right, I forgot Shawn Johnson...she's adorable.

I'm not sure about Donny Osmond, but I too heard he'd be on. Guess not. The list I saw didnt show which dancer they'd be paired with but I'm sure it's out there on the internet somewhere.

I didnt know Ty Murray was a bull rider. He was listed as Jewel's husband on the list I saw.

Aww...man! So far it doesn't sound interesting to me. Although, a lot of times you can watch it a couple of weeks and then start really rooting for one or two just based on personality, ability, etc.

Thanks for the info, Steph. Twinkie and I were talking about this yesterday. Face it, we have no lives! LOL

It remains to be seen if Lawrence Taylor can cooperate and put in the time to make it through the first week!

Also, does Denise Richards need to continue this media nonsense? Is she going to bring her children in the audience? I'm not a big fan of hers or that ex-husband. The way they aired their dirty laundry during the divorce was disgraceful.

I am not thrilled with the new cast, makes me wonder how much longer DWTS will be on the air.

The Woz will be interesting to watch. He really seems to like being in the public eye and making a fool out of himself. Such as the case when he was dating Kathy Griffin and appeared on her her D-list show every week. But I guess when you have that much money, who cares what others think lol

I don't care for Denise Richards, she definitely does not have the style, grace and class that Brooke Burke brought last season.

Keeping my fingers crossed that it is a good season.
