New cast of DWTS revealed - for those who want to know

I know many of you blew the show off a while ago, but for those who still watch it, here's the new "Dancing..." cast with a link. I know some of them. Kirstie and Wendy are the only ones that interest me at this point; the rest I have no interest in. Could be the first season I don't watch.

I don't know a lot of these folks but Hines Ward plays football for the Steelers. He played college FB here in Athens at UGA.

I only recognize 4 but sinceMaks wont be back the season is over already

Ok I can do that tomrrow night, my DH is coming home from a business trip tonight. Maybe you can tell me what style the house is. It has 3 floors and a flat roof, its painted brick (moss green with burgandy trim, a lovely wrap around porch, a porteco(I dont know its a roof attached the house to park your car under and a carriage house that use to be the stable for horses (which is now has apartments in it also) but it has cute port hole windows. Granted I just closed on it last week. Needs freshing up with paint on the outside but that'll have to wait until next spring. I will check the salvage companies and see what they say. Im sure Ill have to email them pictures too. Thanks again!!

I am not thrilled with the new cast, makes me wonder how much longer DWTS will be on the air. The Woz will be interesting to watch. He really seems to like being in the public eye and making a fool out of himself. Such as the case when he was dating Kathy Griffin and appeared on her her D-list show every week. But I guess when you have that much money, who cares what others think lol I don't care for Denise Richards, she definitely does not have the style, grace and class that Brooke Burke brought last season. Keeping my fingers crossed that it is a good season.

I always enjoy watching the show. My DD comes over and we watch it together and chat. Sometimes her b/f comes too- it's a pleasant evening. I find that I really get to know the personalities of the celebrities. I'm always pleasantly surprised by some, and not too impressed with others. Don't care too much for Andy, but I suspect he won't be around long. P.S. How can you decide who you're voting for before you see the dances? ;)

Brooke is playing the sympathy card. Think about it. This is the entertainment industry -- they always have a contract. If Brooke's contract did not include this upcoming season and she hadn't been in negotiations to extend the contract, then she shouldn't have expected to be returning, especially so close to the start of the new season. If she had been in contract negotiations, she should have had enough sense to realize that the negotiations weren't going her way, and she shouldn't have expected to be returning, especially so close to the start of the new season. And, if she actually had a new contract for this season and then ABC opted to cancel the contract, then she has nothing* to complain about because the contract would have included a buy-out which means she would have been paid a handsome sum of money for being let go. *The only thing she could possibly complain about is if her agent and/or manager had negotiated a contract that didn't include a buy-out clause; and if that's the case, her complaining should be against/about her manager and/or agent. Not the network, not the show itself.

Kirstie Alley is enough to keep me from watching this season. I have watched the past 4 seasons.

I only know three people. Have no idea who the rest are but at least there isn't a political figure.

We gave up on DWTS after last season's fiasco.

Most everyone at our meeting last night also said they weren't bothering to watch it either and with this cast, can't say anyone interests me at all.

I think abc killed the golden goose last year.

I havent watched in in quite a while, but if you turn on
the news, open up the computer,turn on the radio, etc,
you get to hear about a lot of things. seems like people
got their panties in a wad because a republican that
couldn't dance was NOT voted out on the 1st or 2nd round,
let alone staying around for quite a while. lol
plus, they really aren't getting a b or c list celebs
anymore. Just my opinion, but I think that's what drove
people last season. And i have to admit the list above
I don't know a lot of them. But i might take a peek
or two.

Not a lineup that sounds all that great to me........I agree with Kat about the b or c list....Kendra is the only one that I would really be interested in seeing if she can dance.....I thought last season was a train wreck and while I am not a Bristol Palin fan what some of the public and some of the reporters and disgusting comics did to her was pathetic, I thought it pretty funny that Kathy Griffin had the nerve to comment on Bristol's appearance......

We've not ever watched DWTS but I imagine we will check in on it this year to see Hines. The only other name I recognize is Kirstie Alley. They must be scraping the bottom of the barrel. Between DWTS and Celebrity Apprentice it seems like the has beens and the wannabes should be somewhere in those names.

Don't judge till you watch. It always turns around after you get to know the new people. Give it a chance.
I don't see where they have announced the pros yet, but I think tomorrow on GMA they may.
I love the show for all the dancing and watching the pros when the stars aren't so good.

They could have just ordinary people on (of course they couldn't call it Dancing wWith The Stars then) as far as I'm concerned. The fun in watching the show is to see people who are not professional dancers improve over the weeks. Some improve and some just have no feel for it whatsoever. At least this season they don't appear to have anyone who is or was a dancer. I'm certainly going to give it a whirl. For those of you who were so incensed over Bristol Palin, get over it!

I'm looking forward to watching Wendy Williams and especially with what she will be wearing. She's proud of what she has and likes to flaunt it.

I've never been a Kirstie fan, not sure what it is that annoys me about her. Poor Maks!

Kendra will be fun to watch.

Don't know much about the guys, but I am looking forward to Sugar Ray and I think he will do well.

I like Kristy Alley, she is trying to keep her since of Humor about her weight yo-yoing. I have no doubt is is seriously trying to get in shape. I hope the show helps her realize she can come back.

I can't wait to see Sugar Ray dance, I bet he is good. He's pretty quick on his feet, er or he use to be.
