I got them all without having to read the possible answers except for a couple. I might have missed #10 had I not just gone to see The Wizard of Oz just last week.

16 was easy because they all came into their own right at some point. John Lennon (for his legacy and death), Paul McCartney (and Wings), George Harrison (While My Guitar Gently Weeps and other hits right up until the mid 1980s), and Ringo Starr who we all know starred in the Caveman movie (with Dennis Quaid! Hubby likes to say "Lana, zookzook" as Ringo did in the movie). 19 I knew right off, but I loved Candid Camera as a kid and always worried when I brushed my teeth, I'd end up on it. Why? Dunno. Ironically, I thought "a little dab will do you" was attributable to another old hair jelly, Dippity Do. Wonder how many of today have even heard of Dippity Do? That's an oldie too. Didn't know 4 or what Dylan said. I guess I am still somewhat young.

Basically, it's always been year 1 for me. Just a few adjustments over the past 5 years. This is year 6 for me. In my zone 5, where frosts can still kill of tender annuals until the end of May, snow flakes can fall in mid may during college graduations, we have been known to have a 2 foot snowstorm on May 9th and 10th, and the very last patch of snow, still sitting in the shade in the back yard will be gone during the first week in June.!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've learned these few things. Whether I sow perennials on the solstice, in January or up until mid February, they all still germinate within the same time frame of a week at the earliest, first to second week in April. Biennials can go out until mid to end of March and then the germination isn't quite as good as it would be. Annuals and tender annuals are safe to sow from second week in April on, but be sure to hold back some, just in case mother nature has some other ideas that year. Annual herbs and veggies go out then too. Morning gory seeds germinate far better for me if I soak them for 24 hours first and then sow them the 3rd or 4th week in April. A couple of times I've covered my well growing annual seedlings in May from the cold, and last year would have been a good idea too, but didn't and lost a few containers of zinnias, dahlias and cosmos, but I had plenty more to sow and just put them out. Beyond that, no fuss. I'm careful with the labels, sowing one kind of seed at a time and doing the tags for the containers at that time. My records are simple, really simple and kept in a cheapo spiral notebook. Date of sowing, then list of seeds and number of containers of each seed. mark whether trade, or commercial seed. If comm. seed, list the company. As containers germinate, I record the date of germination beside the seeds that are already listed in my notebook. It goes outside with me all the time and is handy to get. Somewhere along the line, before plant out time, I list the height of the plant as well Except for MG, sunflowers and cosmos, all of my plants can go in full or partial sun, so I never worry about that problem. My veggies all go in the back in full sun and the herbs get mostly sun Eventually the entire list is on the computer set up in word, no fancy record keeping there either. I guess I look at it like this. WS is supposed to be easy, fun, cheap and produce lots of seedlings that grow into plants. Though it may come into play when figuring various low-income benefits offered to the elderly, like perscription costs or heating allowances for which she might be eligible. And if she is paying expenses in your household in return for board and care, then perhaps that money may be taxable income to you and your DH? I would check with your accountant before you set up the deal. Not that I think you shouldn't do it this way, but sometimes what seems equitable and appropriate on a human scale complicates things like taxes and eligibility for other benefits. We had a Plan B for my MIL (who was having progressively more serious TIAs and couldn't safely live alone another winter in a wood-heated house), but she, as always, managed things her own way by going to sleep after eating her lunch in her own own house and not waking up again. She was a gifted water dowser and I have always suspected that on a psychic level she figured out that her kids (my DH and his sisters and I) had a Plan B that was nearly in full development. Appalling shock for all of us, but as she had often said after my own Mother had died unexpectedly at home, "She Did It The Right Way", at least for her. I second the advice to keep her furniture in her rooms, and not budge from there if there's any chance that having her stuff in the common rooms will make it difficult for you to use your rooms the way you like. Aluminum cooking utensils, aluminum foil and pots and pans do not cause Alzheimer's Disease. Tami, if Alzheimer's Disease runs in your family there is most likely a genetic link. From the day my Mom was diagnosed I have read anything and everything I could get my hands on about Alzheimer's Disease (one of the reasons I got the internet) and there is nothing that links aluminum from cooking utensils as a cause. If you are worried about ingesting aluminum stop drinking water, stop taking Tylenol, stop taking antacids and stop drinking tea or even wearing antiperspirants. Here is link to a Government of Canada website in regards to aluminum and human health. In my research and book reading on Alzheimer's Disease the first comment ever made linking aluminum from cooking utensils and foil was by researcher/scientist telling a joke at a cocktail party - somebody overheard the words "aluminum foil" and "Alzheimer's" and the word was spread that aluminum pots and pans cause Alzheimer's Disease. Jack Weinberg is the originator of the "over 30" statement. Then Jerry Rubin got a lot of press for saying it over and over.

I had no clue what Dylan might have said... so I guessed 40 and was wrong.
