A few questions about the tl Speed Queen.

My old Maytag tl broke & I'm deciding whether to have it repaired or buy a new Speed Queen top loader. The model I want is AWS76NW. The only thing I really hate about the Maytag is my sheets turn into a long rope. I have to keep stopping it to untie them. Takes so long to wash sheets. Can happen as soon as it starts to agitate. Sometimes I'm lucky & it doesn't twist. Maybe 2 out of 10 times. Only happens when I wash sheets and not with other loads.

1- Will this happen with the aws76nw Speed Queen?

2- What is the height of the machine with the lid straight up? My cabinets above the machines come down very low.

3- Is the water temperature on the 76 model mixed or will it be the same as coming directly from my faucets like my Maytag?

I like having the warm rinses on my old machine. I know most of the new ones (tl) don't have it now. That & worrying that I'll get the same twisting is why I haven't changed machines. Would hate to buy the same problem.

Thanks for any information.
