Anybody awake...I need some computer help

My bottom tool bar has dissappeared....My start button is down there..Do you know how I can find it again???

Try view/toolbars then check to see what you have checked or is not checked. That is the limit of my help and it may be of no help to you.

Second suggestion...go to computer help...I am sure someone will give you just the information you need.

I'm currently trying out a trial of Garden Boss. It's actually $40 to purchase, which I think is a little steep, but I do like some of the features. It allows you to set your frost dates, enter data for plants you plant (or use templates provided with the program) and it spits out a calendar that tells you when to sow seed, transplant into the garden, begin harvesting and clear out the square to plant a new plant. It also has a square grid to help you plan you sfg. It does have limitations though. I'd like to be able to add to the calendar things like feed the azaleas, prune the clematis, etc., and there's no way to do that. Perhaps because those aren't sfg-related chores... and the monthly calendar is a little hard to read. You can download it free and try it for 30 days, then you have to pay... I've included a link to a download site below. I was curious about the Garden Manager program, but frankly didn't want the hassle of asking for a refund if it turned out to be not useful for me... I don't think it's IE7 Problem I think what is occurring is when you click a Google link you are being Redirected this can be common with some malware infections can you do the instructions below or get someone to help if you need it. Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop. Click here Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application. Â Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish. Â If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version. Â Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Full Scan", then click Scan. Â The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient. Â When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results. Â Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected. Â When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note) Â The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM. Â Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply. I just did this last week for my new laptop. To export Bookmarks: Go to the top row of the Firefox window...The one with File,Edit,History... Click on Bookmarks, then select "Organize Bookmark" A window will open...in the top line...click on "Import and Backup" then select Import. It will ask you for a file to copy to.. To restore the bookmarks onto the new laptop, follow the same steps, and select restore. Good Luck....it really works nice. The hardest part is finding where to do it.

Not sure but is there an arrow or circle over on the bottom right? Mine says 'show hidden icons'

Are you talking about the bottom toolbar on a browser for for Windows? If it's the browser and doesn't show the title bar, you may have it on full screen, in that case try F11. If you have the title bar but can't see the bottom bar (called the status bar), try double clicking on the title bar.

What happens if you minimize this page?

Move mouse cursor to the very bottom of the screen.
If it becomes a two-way arrow, make a left click and drag it up.

Pass your mouse across the bottom see if you can get it to turn the cursor into a double headed arrow like when you stretch you windows open....go as low as you can go ..if it works hold mouse down and pull up slowly. Worth a try...are you sure it didn't go up the side screen?

I remember hearing what Lindakathy said a long time ago. I was going to try it, but I was afraid I might loose mine too!

I am always losing mine - do what Lindakathy mentioned. Drag the mouse when you see the arrows. To get it right sometimes I end up putting the tool bar at the top then I have to drag it down, then it ends up on the side but eventually I can get it to the bottom again. LOL Start by dragging the line on the bottom up and see if your toolbar appears.

I shut my computer down by holding in the off button...then turned it back on and it was here again...

But it did that yesterday too.

Wonder why it is doing that.

I'm going to print these replies out and stick them in my notebook of computer things that I keep.

Right click on your toolbar and make sure "LOCK THE TASKBAR" is checked. Then it can't be accidentally moved.
