I just paid less at Payless.

I know a lot of you pay a good bit for shoes, and probably don't think about Payless. I buy most of my shoes on clearance at department stores, on sale at Lands' End, or online at 6pm.com or Sierra Trading Post (sounds like I have a lot of shoes, but I don't really), but occasionally I've picked up some good finds at Payless--usually Airwalk summer shoes.

So tonight I checked their website for sales, and came across these slip-ons by Champion. Exactly the sort of shoe I was looking for last summer. They're on sale for 50% off for a limited time, plus I used a 20% off coupon code from RetailMeNot. I had the shoes shipped for free to my local store, where I can try them on before accepting them. I ended up getting this pair for $9.99, which I think is pretty good.

In our family we call that a SCORE!! They look comfy, my DD#1 who pays $$$ for purses loves PayLess shoes and Target shoes~~~she trolls there alot;)

I really like those they look very light and comfy.
I have bought shoes at payless lots of times, especially when they have the bogo sales.

I gulped a bit when you mentioned that you'd bought a lot of Muscari bulbs. I'm guessing you wanted the 'ribbon of blue' effect. If you want to bulk up Muscari bulbs it helps to plant into a free-draining soil that has been given a simple boost with well-rotted garden compost. It needs to get at least six hours a day of sun and moderate water over the growing time. Plant the bulbs around three inches apart with about an inch over the top - and do this in late summer as that's when they start roots and foliage. There's no need to water luxuriantly unless you have prolonged dry spells (weeks with no rain). A preplanting serving of general garden fertilizer - less rather than more - a handful to a square yard, and well mixed through the soil can be helpful if you haven't fed the area for a year or so. If you have - skip the food. While they're dormant over summer - let them bake. You can lift your bulbs and move to their designated area when they are dormant or even in growth. They're quite tough. Just - beware of the spawn. They're as bad as Ixias and Oxalis for proliferating. :-((

There is not much of a performance difference between the 4TEE3C07 and 4TEE3F65 (the 65 has higher heating efficiency by .25 HSPF and a little more cooling capacity). The main difference is physical size - the 65 air handler is around 5" taller. Although since it has the same width and is also a 2-piece unit, I don't see why there was an issue installing it. I won't speculate since I can't see the situation, but it should be no issue dealing with 5" of added length (being a horizontal application) of the air handler if the width is the same. In fact I'd think it's easier to install the 65 since it is a 2-piece model. Could be they didn't want to deal with the larger unit, and the 07 was cheaper and still got you the tax credit. The 800 thermostat (actually the 802 or 803 - if they installed the 800 then you have another issue) is like the VisionPRO 8000, not the IAQ. If you want the dehumidification capabilities of the IAQ, then the 800 series thermostats won't do that the same way. Make certain the installers know how to wire the IAQ module to the dehumidification contacts on the air handler control board. Easily done if they read the instructions. Of course the 800 thermostat was cheaper to purchase than the IAQ. How does the installation look over all? Some pictures can say a lot about the overall quality of installation. No, you aren't exactly getting what you paid for to answer your question.

Not knowing the sq. footage of your space, it's hard to push you in that direction... my tile is just those three walls (can't see the the third) - as the sink is set into that space and stands alone. I think all said and done it was $400 for tile and labor - but the guy just came in to do this job. You'll be bidding out for more tile than just this.... so labor wise, it probably won't add much to your overall labor cost. I purchased at a local tile store - but was just in Lowes last night and they have some really pretty glass accents (like the one I used) -- if that's your thing. It just added a little extra interest. The wall where my towel holder is (to the left of the sink) was just full of water drip stains. You can't get them out. It was either re-paint every couple years or tile. As for your sink choice - I truly believe it comes down to the look you want to achieve. The all white cabinet, with white subway tiles and accent tiles would look pretty awesome. I can't imagine that the fiberboard is any less durable than the pine....

Great website for cruises is cruisecritic.com find all the info you need about the ships and ports. 1 nice feature many enjoy is the Roll Call part of the site....As you can find your sailing and meet online those that are going to be on your cruise. Many book private excursions and then post and ask others to join them. 1 normally gets a much better tour and at a less price than what the cruise ship charges! Those are cute, glad you scored. I'm glad you like 6pm, the only problem is you have to pay for return shipping and I just had to do that. I have been obsessed with high heel pumps lately, and right before Christmas they had a great sale of about 90% off on a brand I like that is really expensive. So I bought 3 pairs for 24.00 each. Unfortunately, they were a lot higher heel than it looked like in the picture and were very uncomfortable so I had to pay to ship them back. I should try payless, never have shopped there.

I heard about 6pm here at the KT, possibly from you, Sleeperblues. I'm glad I did--my son and daughter-in-law and I have gotten some great bargains. My favorite is a pair of Tretorn lined rain boots, perfect for our cold mud seasons. I think they cost me $19 on sale.

A few years ago, I stopped in at Payless to find some slip-on shoes for taking the dog out. I was almost embarrassed when I got to the checkout with a pair of clogs and they rang up for less than $10! A sale combined with another sale.

Cute shoes and look really comfortable. I was at Penney's shopping for tennis shoes last year and liked two pair, the one pr. was marked at $20 but the other wasn't tagged. Even at $20 a pc. I thought that was good. When the clerk scanned the unmarked pr., they came up at $3.... so from $65 to three! I was a happy shopper!! :)
