a driving tip

I told my sister this tonight and she told me I should put this on the KT. I think this is a very good time for it with all of the bad weather the whole US is getting. When you are driving and it is icy and you start sliding, if you put your car in neutral it will slow you down a lot faster and you will quit sliding. The first time someone told me this I thought I would never be able to remember to do this because I usually am panicking. I knew I wasn't supposed to step on the brake because that will only make it worse. I do this when I am coming up to an intersection, or coming up on a car that slows down in front of me too fast. Or if I am going to make a turn and other times that I can't think of right now. I even use it sometimes in the summertime and I am not a fast driver. Maybe everyone else knows this but I thought I would pass it along. Just make sure you don' put it in reverse though. If anyone else has a tip they can pass it along too.
