Raspberry Chocolate Angelfood Cake

For those who asked--it's really simple

Raspberry Chocolate Angel Food Cake

1 box angelfood cake, mixed as directed on package

1/2 box (approx.) raspberry jello

3-4 tablespoons baking cocoa powder

Sprinkles

Preheat oven and mix cake mix as directed on package. Blend in half a package of raspberry jello (save remaining for next cake.) Spoon about 3/4 of the batter into an ungreased 10" springform pan. Add cocoa to remaining batter. Drop by spoonfuls over pink batter. Marble with a knife, being sure to bring up some of the pink batter from the bottom. If desired, sprinkle with chocolate sprinkles (I used pink and white sprinkles, since it's close to Valentine's day).

Bake and cool as directed on package.

And don't limit yourself to raspberry chocolate--try other flavors of jello. I've done a citrus cake (no chocolate in that one) where I divided the batter into 3 bowls and used orange, lemon and lime batters. Then I just dropped alternating spoonfuls into the pan and marbled.
