Oceanna, can I be the spoiler here and ask that when you do more pictures that you make it "Bathrooms, part B" instead of adding to the same thread, because it takes it so long to thread for the dial-up people if they all have to load. Now, if that is too much trouble, I apologize and will withdraw my request, but I noticed that one poster said "he/she" could not load the pictures and I am enjoying them so much that I want others to be able to as well.

Patricia, I think you're talking about Brutuses? I would very much like her to be able to see the threads too. But is she on dialup? Is that the problem? I know she's been able to see them fine prior to now as she's been commenting on them. I've also noticed that the forum is funky at some times and fine at others, and we know they've been working on it, so I'm wondering if that's a factor as well, and a temporary one.

The reason I'm not just saying "sure" is because my concern then is that the Part I will be drifting around the corner and getting lost or even disappearing altogether sooner if I do that. Plus, people are likely to miss smany good pics not knowing there is another thread, and thinking they've seen all there is to see.

I have a ton of hours of work in these, as I'm sure you can guess, and I really want them to serve the community well. So I'm just not sure which is the best way to go. Perhaps some others can speak up on this and let me know if that's a problem for them too?

BTW, I just finished putting more in the Cottage Decor thread (before I read your post), for those who are interested.

maybe you could categorize them like the paint threads are broken down into colors.

Cottage decor - whites
cottage decor - blue

or staircases rustic
staircases modern

something like that. would that work?

HI Tryin... but doesn't that just add to the threads drifting around the corner and disappearing sooner, and people not knowing they're there? I think it would be ideal to see those threads and the paint color threads remain on the first page as reference points for everyone. I probably won't be adding much to what I've already posted... but I do have a couple more threads to do.

You could put the pictures in a Shutterfly account and do a Slideshow. Unlike some free photo storage websites, it will let you put over 100 pictures in a slideshow (without fading in/out or fancy edges, etc). Viewer can set the speed faster/slower and pause. Just a thought.

The red x I had was on just one photo. This happens sometimes to others as well and I'm not sure why. No, I don't have dial-up although it's so slow lately I think I do. LOL I told my DH to defrag as recommended by someone. So I'll see if that helps.

Thanks for your response, Brutus. Then unless specific people complain I'll continue as is. Yeah, I get a few red x's too -- although when I post originally there are no red x's. Oh well, huh? I'm so glad you can see them.

Allison, great idea but I'd need them to host a couple of thousand pics. Besides I don't want to start over. I recommend if anyone sees pics there they love, they save those to their own computers, just in case.
