I wonder why a surrogate. Didn't they have one child via just him & her? I also wonder why Kelsy Grammrs soon-to-be ex wife had theirs, via a surrogate.

I don't know about the Grammers. As much as I love the show Frasier, it's hard to relate to its Kelsey's private life.

The kid(s) she has with Tom, are adopted. Being she has had a baby (I think) with Keith, makes me wonder about Toms fertility.

I read earlier today that she had several miscarriages when she was married to Tom. Maybe it is too risky for her to carry.

Oh that's really nice for them. I would think she'd be much happier with Keith. Tom seems like such a control freak. IMO. I wonder too about Tom's fertility. I think it would be very hard to be the person that carries the baby for 9 months. I can't imagine that at all.

The baby was born via a "gestational carrier". Different than a surrogate. The baby is actually Keith and Nicole's natural child. She had two miscarriages with Cruise and severe problems with her last child. Was advised it was too risky to try natural childbirth again. I'm happy for them.

I'm really happy for them. They seem so happy. Very cute couple.
And as far as Tom and his fertility.....he and Katie have Suri.

Surrogate Mother: A woman who bears a child for another person, often for pay, either through artificial insemination or by carrying until birth another woman's surgically implanted fertilized egg.
