Tylenol recall expanded

I see they've expanded the moldy Tylenol recall to include some Motrin, Rolaids, Benedryl, St. Joseph and more.

I checked, had 2 bottles of the big Tylenol bottles. Threw them away.

I've done a few of the recalls when it was first announced a couple years ago. Actually pretty easy, more like 30 minutes. The dishwasher gets pulled out of the cabinet, the cord is replaced, then the dishwasher goes back in. You must call the number in the letter to get an authorization number or you can go to the brand website and get a Authorization number. You need this before you call a service company. @ Fori... Our store got the recall poster the day of the recall. I think all the stores got them the same day. I bet they just didn't notify all their sales people.

It caught my attention a while ago because I had bought some generic versions so I wanted to check it out. Tonight I heard they have expanded it to other brands. Interesting.

In keeping with this current warning...the link below supplies a complete list of products and their Lot #s. Just scroll down the page to the link. It's in PDF format.

I have one of the 81mg St Johns Aspirin products listed...but am not going to dump it. Mine has no musty/moldy odor and I'm sure the product is all right. I've been taking the Aspirin twice a day for well over a month...with no side effects. From all that I've read...the recall is "cautious" with the manufacturers acknowledging that not all products have been affected. The odor has transfered from treated wooden pallets that the product boxes were stacked on to the paper product containers and in some instances...may have transfered to the actual product.
