:( KT Gathering :(

I am sorry to inform those that had thought about coming to the gathering in Iowa in June, that we won't be able to do it....this year. There are a couple of things that have come up. (BESIDES being grandparents later this summer!) Dean and I just don't feel we can do as much as we would like to do for the gathering and still get other obligations done also.

We are both really sad that we won't be able to meet new people and visit with those friends that have been here before.

(We aren't super humans like Tom & Judy in MN were last year......move AND do the gathering!!! =) )

Thanks for understanding, and we will see what the coming years look like and may try to do it another time. :)

Oh, I'm so sorry, Sandy, but I do understand. We were planning to come and then head to Yellowstone. I guess we will just go to Yellowstone and maybe we can meet up with some KTers along the way. We can pretend we are Nita and Mike.

Hey all...I'll be there with bells on as they say! I am bringing my camera and some of my art trading cards just in case there's a loll in the conversation and we need something to do (hee, hee!) I've been a member for years. I mostly just read. I'm a mom of three, work part time, and I'm a musician on the side for fun. I'm quiet in a large crowd, fairly anxious in general, my friends call me chop chop, and I have a very healthy sense of humor. I'm also quite opinionated. I like coming here because sometimes I just want my own personal water cooler - I'm quite entertained at times here! :P

Super-Humans !!! LOL More like super-brainless!

I was so out of it at the time, it would have been wiser to at least post-pone it. I hardly knew what I was doing.

You guys are smart, and be thankful that it is not at the last minute.

All that asside - I sure was looking forward to that get- together. You guys go all-out for it!

I wish I had to guts to try it. I'd have it at the river, but there isn't any motel accommodations close up there. Heck, there's a couple gas stations, 1 grocery store, a couple of bars, and a couple more bar/restaurants. Nothing interesting in the area to go visit/see except a couple wineries. Patti, are you up for something? I'll help ya.

I am sorry to hear this even thou I was looking forward to traveling there to meet alot of KTers.
I definitely understand, maybe in 2011 we can all plan something.

I have never been to Iowa or to many many other places in the US. Are there any other big KT gettogethers anywhere else this summer?
