I am so glad my work day is over and that I am home! Past, history, forget it I say. What is done is done. Onward! After all tomorrow is another day! LOL! How was your day?

Oh, you must have had a really crummy day...I hope your evening is nice and relaxing for you.

My day was quiet. I was off work, but didn't have a car today, so I was house-bound. Not a bad thing when you work full time.

Mine "had" to be better than yours sounds. I crafted all day. That's the joys of being retired.

I get fads and obsessions. This year, it was pink figleaf hollyhocks. And No One was selling the seeds! Oh yes, plenty of places were selling the mix of colors, the Antwerps or Bright Lights. But no one was selling Just Pink. Finally, I found one place that was selling them, and she ended up sending me some for free because I told her that part of her website was broken. That was really nice! And just recently , I got some more pink ones in a trade. So I am all set now. Until the next obsession! For non-seed flowers, I have been crazy about old fashioned roses for a long time, and buy a few more every year. I also like the PG type hydrangea, the kind you can prune into a tree. But you can only have so many of those because they all look pretty similar to each other. I don't like the mophead hydrangea because the flower heads are too big and too few, and flop in the mud when it rains. But I found a hydrangea called "serrata preziosa", which is a cross between a mophead and a lacecap hydrangea. It has flower heads that are smaller than mopheads so they don't flop over. And the flower colors change from shades of pale lavender to burgundy red in the fall. I am really hoping it blooms in its first year here. Lois in PA

Pretty things in my glass front top shelves...stemware, a small collection of jadeite and a favorite large set of pretty white lotus bowls that belonged to my mother-in-law. but I left plenty of solid front uppers with those pesky top shelves where I store things used only once or twice a year: All my Christmas dishes and mugs cupcake tree oddball themed/shaped cake pans chafing dishes knife sharpener meat grinder and other scary stuff :)

I'm still at work. I get off at 9:00. As long as the roads are clear and dry, I'll be happy. Probably tired, though.

Glad your bad day is behind you, Mush!

I'm glad to have made it back home.
I subbed today in an EBD classroom in Rochester. (Emotional/Behavior Disorder) By 9 AM it started to snow. Surrounding schools started closing by 11. The commute home that usually takes 25 minutes took over an hour. Visibility was terrible. Now the cold comes pouring in behind the storm. It's suppose to be -12 by morning with a windchill around -35.
In a month the greenhouse will begin it's season. I'm so ready!

Today must have been rough for many people because I spent most of my work day listening to people vent over little things. I tried to be as helpful as I could but there were some that wanted to complain more than they wanted the problem fixed.
I'm on the GLAD TO BE HOME list too!
Thanks , hugs and kisses to the dearest Hubby a womancan have He cooked supper tonight! Woohoo!
Havew a better day tomorrow Ya'll

Hang in there Mush, and some day you will join the ranks of us retirees. The pay stinks, but the freedom is worth it.

I didn't leave the house today. The weather is rotten, rotten, rotten. It snowed this morning and the wind came up in late afternoon. Temps dropped and we have a blizzard warning. It is 14 right now and was up to 33 earlier today.

I spent the day taping and painting my living room/dining area. The ceiling is done and one third of the walls. I'm redoing the whole room so after the sweat equity I get to do the fun stuff which is decorate. The next few days are going to be single digits coooold so it's something to do here in Ma. when we're freezing.

It was not a terrible day for me but certainly not great either. A lot of people at work were frazzled. Of course, at my office that seems to be the normal state of things.
