freezing cream cheese

hi cooks..comming out of the lurking mode to ask a question..i make a large amount of soup to freeze..have just discovered i prefer some cream cheese in my beef and brocoli soup rather than cream..for 4-6 quarts, i temper about 2-4 oz. into the soup...would this freeze ok? thanks..bz
