The very first person to audition had such a nice voice, but he'll never hold up against the competition. He's the one with the high toned voice. He'd be a great crooner like the old time balladiers but not quite for today's pop culture. I really hate the audition weirdos and really wish they'd show us more of the real wannabees who at least have decent voices. Teresa, I try to predict, too. At least that part is fun LOL. Most often I can tell by the sound of their speaking voice and the resonance, like you. One sure fire way to tell is if they have a hoarse voice. You know that's a singer - an untrained one but a singer nonetheless. But then, lots of famous singers are also hoarse and they've had training, like Whitney Houston. I'm surprised she can talk or sing at all.

Thanks so much for the click and drag, bestlawn. I am always missing the elimination show, and I hate to wait like a day and a half to be able to see on the A.I. website who was voted off. Did y'all notice on the previous show this week, David Hernandez kept talking about his place of work being a pizzaria or something like that, in his interview? Maybe he worked there part time or off and on, briefly at the last or something. But I think he was trying to distance himself from his real place of employment - the gay strip club - since that had been found out and talked about all over the internet. As busy as they are with the grueling practice and rehearsals, they must have some kind of feedback available as to what is going on with the nation-wide audience. my top fave guy is still Casey Abrams love the red hair and that Jennifer said he was sexy. He said he was out to prove guys that look like him can be sexy. I think he is very cute and that voice is awesome very talented guy. I actually was with the judges in shedding a tear when Jacob Lusk sang he is one of those wow singers. Scotty he will be a country music star no matter what happens on Idol. james Durbin kicked it in gear. He is going to be the rocker for sure. Paul McDonald loved his rendition of Maggie Mae, so quirky in voice and movement but very appealing. I think the definite go home was Jordan Dorsey and he thinks so highly of himself too, after making every one audition just to be in his group that group night, I knew he was going to be a fail. Love the judges, they are doing a great job.
