Recommendations for non-glass pie plates and casserole pans?

I've been reading the thread about Pyrex and other glass bakeware shattering unexpectedly. While I have used Pyrex pie plates and rectangular baking dishes for years without incident, I find some of the reported incidents concerning - especially since sometimes it seems to occur without any undue thermal shock.

It seems an unnecessary risk to use these products in my kitchen - particularly with my children and grandchildren here often.

What non-glass products do you use instead? I usually prefer to avoid items with non-stick coatings because it annoys me when they wear out. My husband found some of the borosilicate glass items on Amazon and we are also thinking of replacing with those.
