Has your dog ever 'Just Not Felt Right' ?

About 15 months ago we adopted a Scotch Terrier Mix, he is now 6. He has no known health problems and is usually a happy, alert little guy.

Last Friday he started acting very lethargic - no interest in going outside, no barking at people walking by, no excitement over snacks. He would go up stairs slowly, and will wait at the top of the stairs for someone to carry him down. (He will eventually go by himself). All in all, he is just kind of moping around - very lethargic.

We took him to the vet on Monday who found nothing wrong with him. He is not in any detectable discomfort, he is eating, drinking and eliminating fine, no fever, no mouth problems, nothing, nothing, nothing. The vet checked this dog over very thoroughly and found nothing. He added that we could do blood work, but the problem is that we have no idea what we are looking for.

He added that sometimes this happens to dogs, they "Just don't feel right". I believe him, but am still concerned. Has this ever happened to one of your dogs? Did it pass? Any insight at all?
