I click on Show me yours first, then click on all the others. I never go back to other pages. I do bookmark threads like the picture of pets thread.

I click on something if it was posted by okwriter. So I can check up on you.

I click on most subjects, if I am in a hurry only a few and come back later and check out the rest....I do it cause KT'ers always got the scoop on something! LOL
I sometimes go back to the second page, but not always.
We got back yesterday after being gone a few days and think I went back to page 3.
I am always learning something new here or getting a laugh or can sympathize with someone it seems like. Guess thats why I am here so much.

Usually it's the title of the post that gets my attention first. Then I look at who posted it and after that, if I have time, I try to look at all the remaining posts. I also try to look at page 2 because from 5 PM to 7 AM, a lot can happen!

I think the title of the post is crucial, a generic "Help!" post isn't enough to grab my attention.

I don't click on posters.

I get really annoyed with the title of some of the posts. An example might be when a post reads, "have you ever...", and I have to open it up to find out the topic. Many times it is not a topic that is of interest to me and I would not have opened the post. I would like the poster to be more specific in their title such as, "have you ever used a crock pot". That way I won't open that post.

Also on all the others from posters I know, and met. Subjects are also reasons I click or don't click on posts.

I also like going back to page 60 to 67 and read posts there. Sometimes I find posts there I missed the first time around, and then I post on them and bring them back up, if I really think they need a second chance. :)

Other than "I'll Show You Mine..." and Sandy's question of the day and Karen's site of the day and GRATITUDE, and probably a couple more, I click only on topics that interest me. Sometimes I didn't know they were interesting until I saw them discussed here. :-)

But because I'm not inclined to open every thread, I agree with what Flamingo and Donna said about specific thread titles. "I need your advice!" could refer to anything from a serious health issue to too much baking powder in the cake batter.

I click on the subjects that sound interesting to me. I do try and read every post, but don't always have time. I also dislike the "Have you ever..." type posts that aren't specific. Then I forget I already clicked on it and read it again later. If it said something like "Have you ever used a crock pot" (stole Donna's idea! lol), I'd remember I'd read it.

I rarely open any large picture post (picture of the day and posts with lots of any photos) just because I am on dial-up still and I don't have 15 minutes (or however long) to let the photos download. One of these days I'll get high-speed internet and do some catching up!!

I look for Site of the dy first then I'll show you mine etc then because the topic sounds interesting?

I try to make it through all Subjects. Those that get real lengthy like: The Old Women...I would routinely check again.

I like all the pictures and especially Pets and Kiddos.

I try to catch Birthdays.

I click on topics of interest!! Now I kind of like the "Have you ever..." posts.......You never know what they are going to be about. So I think that is interesting!
I'm on dial up too so long picture posts I don't even go near.
I love craft and cooking posts so those are topics that I will always open.

I always read the Question of the Day (but don't always post a response); and other than that, it's generally the subject line that will determine whether or not I'll read it.

As far as always reading threads started by a specific person... that would apply for Dances' posts, because she's such a talented writer that I know it will be fun to read, no matter what the subject is.

I usually check on the site of the day...

Then just read what interestes me.

And yes I check back pages too...because many many times people post things late at night and it might get one reply which takes it to the next page overnight...and if you don't check on the second page you might miss some good stuff.

I click on posts and don't play the clique game, so I never click on posters. Either the posts genuinely interest me or I just don't want others to feel ignored.

Being the newbie here, I read almost all of the messages, because you all seem to have something interesting to say.... I do open the "Q-O-T-D" one and "Site of the Day" and "I'll Show You Mine.." ones first off, then migrate to the others. I go back to the pages with the current day's date.

Once again, to all the regulars, thanks for the great reading at the KT.

I have very limited time here, unfortunately, so I'd never get to all the threads. Therefore, I go solely by the subject line, and whether it is something I'm interested in. So I almost never even open the threads that are general or leading, such as "have you ever..." I know I probably miss lots of good stuff, but it is rather annoying to me, so I scroll on by.

I always read the Question of the Day, and then I just see what looks interesting. If I'm having a particularly slow work day, I read almost everything. Sometimes I'll read specific posters if I know it will probably be a funny post. I rarely go back on pages, but sometimes I will if I haven't checked in for a few days.

I try to read them all. No special order. I usually try to answer the QOTD first, then go back and read them all. I kind of compare it to setting around a kitchen table visiting and drinking coffee.

Since I've retired I read almost all posts, but don't necessarily reply to them.
First thing I do is check " I'll Show You MIne ", then Site of the Day and Question of the Day. Next comes those that obviously are about pets, then the ones asking for good thoughts or prayers and I never miss Mallory's snags. Since I've been home I try to stop by every couple of hours and see what's new.

I usually click on interesting post titles first and then I click on posters. If I've been gone a while I will check page 2 to see if I missed anything. Sometimes I won't click on a post that I think wouldn't be interesting to me, but after seeing that it is getting so many responses, I click to see what they are all talking about! I'm usually glad I did.

I click on almost every topic, because almost everything is interesting to me, lol! I usually do go back at least to page 2 or 3, because I can't usually log on till the evening and I don't want to miss anything. I have found out sooo many interesting things just by accident, by things that are usually even off-topic from the original posting, lol!

I don't always post/respond, but like someone else said, I don't want someone to feel ignored (not sure where the logic is in that, lol, but it makes me feel like I'm helping). I also think I should have the official KT title of The Thread Killer, lol - and I hate to do that to a good post :-P

I click on everything because I'm compulsive about the KT and the KTers.

I usually find a subject that will catch my eye, then I look for Sandy's 'question of the day',
then look for other interesting subjects. Never poster's name the thread itself has to catch my attention.
I also check several times during the day; at night I am usually here for 3-4 hours straight after dinner.

I mainly just click on topics that interest me. I'd love to have time to read them all, but I just don't. I also like to look at the pictures each day.
I have to limit my KT time because it really can get addictive. I try to log in just once a day and quickly look at posts that interests me. I also have to give attention to the Grief Forum since I was instrumental in starting it. If I can help just one person, I will be satisfied.

Site of the day, first. Then subjects of interest. I check the dates, to usually go back to the current day.

I click by the subject. I avoid any post that has an exclamation point in the title. I never click "site of the day" cause I don't have that kind of time. I LOVE the "show me yours and I'll show you mine" if I'm on my work computer -- not at my home computer (cause it's dial-up). If I've got some time, I'll go back to page 2 or sometimes 3.

I've learned over the years that I get a lot more info and enjoyment out of some posters than some others, so I take that into consideration too.

The title is what usually catches my eye.

If I see an unusually large number of replies to a subject, I'll click to see what's going on. (I'm nosy)

Sometimes I'll click on the posters who I have met or had other contact with just to see how they're doing.

There are a minority of posters whose posts I especially enjoy for their intelligence, wit and/or humor.

I click on those of interest, and any that I think I may be able to add any needed info to.

I also am particularly drawn into (and like) the ones with the subject lines that make me open them to see what they might be about...kinda like opening a box of choclates...never know what you're gonna git.

I also like the Gratitude, and the question of the day...among many others.

First thing, ALWAYS - site of the day (thank you casey and I have passed many on), and photos (thank you, wanda - some day I hope to join the group).

Any pix of the group, pets, I also enjoy. Loved the thread about who you are. I am a little shy but surely love reading about all of you.

Question of the Day and other regular items (but I find that I'm not strongly attracted to, "I'll show you mine ...") - possibly partly because I'm on dial-up, too.

I, too, am nosey and interested in a variety of subjects. I aso like to check topics of interest, and some where people are looking for ideas, advice, support, empathy, etc.

I like to check what a number of my favourite people are talking about.

I too find that a number of situations that I might have made a quick decision to reject turn out to be interesting, informative, to give me a good laugh, or some other things that make me click on some that I might be inclined to bypass, as I'm afraid that I may miss something interesting.

I've felt that I have a tendency to be a thread killer, for I find that my post often seems to be the final one.

I like to go back till I find subjects outlined in pink, indicating that I've looked at them before ... and no new posts since, to change them to blue.

I also like to go back quite a few pages, on occasion. I sometimes feel that a topic there deserves a review.

I thank many of you for your intelligence, concern for people and animals, plus people in other places, circumstances, etc., for the fun that you bring to the forum, and for sharing of yourselves here.

And I appreciate that for many of you, we can have a disagreement at times without being disagreeable ... and often find that there are a number of aspects of a given situation where we do have quite a bit of agreement.

Good wishes for one of the greatest New Years that you've ever seen! And some of us have seen quite a few.

Often times I am the last reply, but I think it is only because I have so very many favorite forums here, that often it is just time for a post to sink by the time I get time to reply.

I know a lot of what you say in 'in fun' and love your sense of humor and what all you add here and elsewhere.
