10YRS AGO MY SON WAS BORN ON SUNDAY BEFORE THANKSGIVING. I GOT HOME FROM THE HOSPITAL ON WED MORNING AND HOSTED FOR MY PARENTS AND SIS AND BIL. I THINK THEY BROUGHT PIE!
THIS YEAR SIS IS JUST TOO BUSY, YEAH RIGHT, SO I AM HOSTING AGAIN. BUT HER FRIEND/HER DH, DD & DS ARE COMING TOO ALONG WITH MY PARENTS. MY OTHER SIS AND HER 4KIDS ARE COMING. WE ALSO INVITED MY BESTY FRIEND AND HER TWO KIDS BECAUSE HER METH ADDICT DH IS IN JAIL, YES SHE KICKED HIM OUT LONG AGO AND IS DIVORCING HIM, AND HIS/HER FAMILYS ARE NOT INVITING HER TO THEIR HOMES. Shannon, yes, but only if you had actually eaten the peaches and cottage cheese!

And, you need to learn how to delegate! Assign dishes for your family members to bring!

Bumblebeez- I skipped the cottage cheese and peaches. Opted for some pringles and then a cup of cocoa puffs. I get late night munchies, it is horrible. I have no will power.

As for the dishes. Oh yes, I am strategizing. No options either, I am simply calling and telling them what to bring.
