Google Chrome ???

I saw it mentioned on the last thread, whats it all about?

Will I have to redo everythibng again like I had to with firefox? Any problems downloading it?

just another browser option just like firefox or opera but created by google. Not sure what you mean by redo everything??? all you have to do is tell it yes or no when it ask if you want to transfer your bookmarks and settings I would say yes so it sets it up as your other browsers are and if it ask should it be default you can say no and change that at any time just like any of the other browsers.
If you like it keep it if not delete it or just leave it on there and don't use it.

I use it. Went Google Chrome months ago after I had updated my Safari browser & it acted very wonky. It wasn't a problem with the bookmark transfer.

Thanks everyone. It takes a little getting used to, but so far so good. We use ad block plus which Raven advised when she was trying to help us with our Firefox glitch.

Sounds like something changed the default programs to open pictures up in Chrome. You can change it back to the default "Windows Photo Viewer" by using the instructions mentioned on this page.

Been using Chrome for 2 years now and like it a lot. It's my preference over the other browsers and very simple to download and use.

Like Debi_2006, I've been using Chrome almost exclusively for a few years now. It's fast (PC World says it was the fastest in actual tests of download speed) and it doesn't have a lot of toolbars and other junk up top.

As Ravencajun says, if you switch, you can just choose to import bookmarks when you install.

Might as well try it - there's no downside!

I have been using Google Chrome for several months now. I got so fed up with Firefox and a computer geek friend suggested Google.
