Just sauteed up 8 green peppers.

I wanted a couple green peppers to saute up with onions for the roast beef sandwiches Hubs & I like. At the store, green peppers were 99cents each and they were small ones. Next to them were some that were just a little past their prime for 2/50 cents, so I bought 8 of them and sauteed them with some onions. We had some for our sandwiches for lunch and I'll put some in the fridge, for tomorrow, and I'll freeze the rest for future use. At the store, once in a while I can get a 2lb package of cooked and thinly sliced, seasoned roast beef, for $5.99. Absolutely so waste and is it ever good, so when they have it, I buy 2 packages and separate it into individual serving sizes, depending on what i want it for. The sandwiches we like,I put a little creamy horseradish sauce on the bottom of a hoagey bun, pile on the beef, then the green peppers& onions, then top with Swiss cheese, put the top on, wrap in foil and bake 15-20 mn. Yum!!
