Stan uses SmokeStik. I think it's the only one made in the U.S. (which probably means it is safer). I don't know if it still works, but there was a discount with the code "RISEUP". They are a great idea--I wish they had been available when I was trying to quit. Good luck!

Hasn't ChubbyRat been using them to help her quit smoking? The last I heard, they were very helpful.

Before any of you spend the money for these e-cigarettes...you might want to read the FDA warning about them in the link I've posted below. You may save money...e-cigarette cost vs actual cigarette expenses...but you may do equal or more damage to your health.

Looking back on the drugs that the FDA has "approved" that ended up causing deaths,etc. and ended up being recalled, I'm not sure I'd take "take their word" on anything!??

Believe me...I agree with you, Country...but the FDA warning on the e-cigarette isn't the only one out there. I grabbed it to post here because I knew [quickly] right where it was. ;-)

And...I hate to see anyone scammed. That's what I think that e-cigarette is. But...as always...that's just my humble opinion.

Per the link below, 1-14-2010...A federal judge has reportedly just ruled that the Food and Drug Administration [FDA] does not have any authority to regulate e-cigarettes;

Hmm...I wonder if the FDA will in time attempt to outlaw nicotine patches, nicotine gum, caffeine, as well as sugars and fats that 'sometimes' can contribute to obesity.

I've never tried it but my friends have. No luck with them was their comment to me. It is very heavy and dosen't feel anything like the real thing. I was shocked for some reason to find out it needed to be charged so often even for light smokers.
