heating and air conditioning

We recently had a furnace replaced by a home warranty policy. (American Shield) The unit and installer were provided by the insurance company. The unit was improperly installed. We have 2 gas furnaces and 1 AC. We have since decided to have the improperly installed unit "re-installed". The old furnace replaced with a Trane XV90 for 5,816 and a new Trane XL14i AC for 6,865. There will also be an additional $500 for a 10 year parts and labor warranty. I thought the Trane units came with a 10 year warranty. I also believe the above pricing is extremely high? What do you think?
