I automatically discount any thing sold on the "Party Plan" with a rep and then one party scheduled from another. won't even consider buying anything that way.
But they do have a professional website where the prices are a lot cheaper.....and I guess they look like pretty good products if you need some bake ware. I need a new silpat as one has been over used....like for 15 years and I need to replace it.
Commercial bakers use the molds for many tartlets at a time and I suppose fancy cookie molds, as well as lots of loaves of subway bread.
To answer your question....haven't tried their bakeware....but I NEED several silpat mats in my kitchen!

I would advise starting slow--buy only one piece and give it a try before you invest in a bunch of silicone stuff.

I've used a several different silicone products (various brands) and was HIGHLY disappointed in them. Some people (I'm one) are very sensitive to the 'plasticky' taste they impart to foods--others don't notice it. The bakeware stuck more than anything I've ever used (and you aren't supposed to use cooking spray on it). And it's hard to manage a full silicone cake pan--difficult to pick up and move to the oven. Some brands say not to put the stuff on a cookie sheet, so that solution isn't viable. The mats have to be stored flat, so as not to damage the glass fibers (at least the ones I got did). Really, all in all, I found the stuff more trouble than it's worth, for inferior baked goods.

Personally? I wouldn't waste my money on any more kitchen silicone. I've got a bunch of it that I cannot use now.

I will say, those are general comments, not about this specific brand, which I've never used, but I reiterate--try one piece, see if it gives you good results, then you can decide whether you want more of it.

Demarle products have been around since 1965 and are used by well known chefs and cooking experts. They have amazing products, guaranteed for life and they really work well. I threw out my old pans after 3 months. Nothing, and I mean nothing sticks. Give one a try - you'll be hooked too. Don't pay attention to an uninformed person who tells you not to support a party plan person... they just don't understand.

I only recently began using Demarle at Home products but I am totally impressed! My cousin sent some to me to try out and get my feedback on it. My husband and I both love it so much he encouraged me to become a consultant. I have yet to really get my feet wet in the business, but we both use it every single day for something. My daughter is actually working on replacing all of her former cookware with Demarle. I will too! I love it!

Eh. I was given one of the star shaped pans for a gift. It's packed away with the rest of the kitchen stuff I haven't unpacked since we moved, I'd forgotten about it until now. It felt like a silicon pan and I found it difficult to handle plus the stuff is gawdawful expensive. They do have a marked silpat for macarons which I keep looking at, although I know better.

I'd already purchased silicone muffin pans and cake pans and the absolute worst device ever, a silicone bundt pan. I put them in a yard sale, but when people asked how well they worked, I just couldn't lie. I finally put them in the free box and no one would take them, so I threw them away. (sigh) This pan was better, but still nothing to shout about. That's why it's still packed away.

I do have a silpat which I rarely use, I still prefer parchment paper, which I reuse, then flip over and reuse some more before I throw it away. I just hate drawing those stupid little circles for macarons, so mine are never really the same size, I freehand it, LOL.

Anyway, it kind of reminds me of Pampered Chef. OK products, for what they are, but extremely over priced.

I went to a party knowing nothing about it. I purchased the silpat & muffin molds. I absolutely love the product. You don't spray or line the muffin mold. Everything just falls out. It cleans up easily with soap & water. We have enjoyed a lot of baked asparagus on the silpat. I have since hosted a party & will be going to another party. Slowly building up my molds.
