keep losing my slide bar?

This just started happening, the bar you side on the right side, to go up & down on the page just keeps going away. I have to refresh to get it back. Anyone else having this problem? It seems like lots of new (aggravating) things are happening.

Thanks for all the suggestions...this is my favorite home site, I've learned a lot on these boards! I've already looked into all of these possibilities, this was not an expensive DW and so not a lot of "extras". The metal tabs on the top are not removeable to use on the sides. There are no plugs/holes anywhere inside. The granite will NOT get drilled now. The interior is not stainless, just plastic. I can't raise the legs and wedge it tight to the counter, tried that first but the plastic edge bends and door doesn't close. If I lower the front legs even more,(it will be slightly out of level) and I might be able to get a 1/4" strip of wood- that's it. This looks like my only method. I know the importance of keeping a DW water-tight, but what if I screwed from the inside, through the sides, and siliconed the heck out of the screws and their holes- anyone try this yet ?

What REALLY irks me here, in the Houston area, is that a good number of DUI's that cause death/serious injuries (and a lot of those hit& runs that they eventually catch that are DUI's) are illegals who don't have licences or insurance. A recent very tragic case was a young Mom, little boy, new husband plowed into & the passersby tried valiantly to save them from the flaming car. The illegal who killed them had numerous DUI's. And shouldn't have been here in the 1st place.

Wow grateful for all these ideas! To be honest, I think I'm going for quick and cheap. Not worth making the drawers full extension we have more pressing issues at the new house, plus the kitchen is functional but UGLY. I don't want to put too much money into it other than possibly replace the sink faucet and maybe paint the walls. So I think I'm going to try the pool noodle solution!!! Since many drawers aren't full extension it's not a big loss of storage (unless we start accumulating more things, but I don't think we will at this point). Plus I can do the pool noodle job myself, I don't want to ask DH to deal with the drawer hardware and I don't want to do it myself because the long-term plan is to re-do the space (like maybe in 5-8 years).

Thank you! I don‘t want to make it harder for you, but your walnut trim is wayyy prettier than our janky rough-sawn cedar was—in fact, we ripped a lot of it down and replaced it. I think lighter floors (just not gray) would look good either way. I like your big rustic support post by the steps. You can see the accent shelf we built—it hides two support beams that were previously part of a pony wall. I think a straight up bookshelf would be really pretty in your room; I can see you have some lovely ceramics to display. However, if I had toddlers I’d worry about climbing. My youngest is 7 and the knicknacks are now safe (although I did yell at my teen for tossing a football there just today).

I, too, have been experiencing this for the past few days. I refresh also but I'm noticing that the pages take longer to load now than ever before.

So, what can we do besides hit refresh, I wonder.

Same here, a day or so ago.

I found that if I moved my cursor ("curser"?) to the bottom of the page, I could shift down.

My problem is that when I log in and then go to reply to a posting and then press preview, I get looped back to the list of other forums. This has been going on for four days now and it's annoying. In fact, I tried to post this twice and it happened both times and the third worked,go figure.

You can use the middle scroll wheel on your mouse to move pages up and down.

I never use the bar on the side anywhere - It is so much easier to use that scroll wheel once you get used to it!

Also - if you want to open something in a new tab - like if you wanted to open several threads on the main page at the same time - just click that scroll wheel down on the thread name and it will open in a new tab. Don't forget to use that scroll wheel to go down the page to open more - lol!

My internet isn't super fast, so I will go ahead and open several so they load as I start reading the first one.
