Halloween recipes?

It must be Halloween week, because so many posts are ghosts!
I can't keep up, and I don't know what's happening, but I'm changing the subject.

What's a good recipe you'd recommend for me to take to a Halloween party with friends?
The hosts provide the meal, and the guests bring appetizers or desserts.
I always make the same cake.
I want to do something different and delicious this year, maybe an appetizer and dessert.
Anyone?

Pumpkin bread?
Look on pinterest for ideas...they show dracula's dentures and ghost cupcakes and such.

I have a really easy good recipe that comes out more like a jell-o jigglers so you can make it in a pan and cut into squares instead of having to use little cups: 1 box jell-o 1 packet Knox 1 c. alcohol (I use mostly vodka and maybe some Chambord or Apple Pucker depending on jell-o flavour) Water Make Jell-o as per the recipe, substituting 1 c. alcohol for 1 c. of cold water. (don't forget the Knox). Very easy and always a hit.

Here's a quick and easy standby, if you're really feeling pressed for time. Or you can always do pumpkin pie using a Pillsbury crust. Becky Lompoc, CA * Exported from MasterCook * Pumpkin Pie Cake Recipe By :Carole Steel Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 cup sugar 29 ounces canned pumpkin 1 can evaporated milk 3 eggs -- beaten 1 tablespoon cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg 1 teaspoon ground ginger 1 box yellow cake mix 1 cup nuts -- chopped 1 1/2 sticks butter -- melted Mix first 9 ingredients (through ground ginger) and pour into 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle cake mix over the top - push cake mix into the pumpkin mixture uniil you can see the mixture coming through the cake mix. Drizzle butter over top and sprinkle with chopped nuts. OMG, I'm actually making those Spider Deviled Eggs to take with me to our annual Halloween Pot Luck Soup Dinner!
Melsouth, that recipe is also on AllRecipes.com. They have a lot of special Halloween food recipes there from drinks to appetizers, main dishes and desserts.
Annie: those Dracula's Dentures are fantastic!!! I may have to make them for the kids (and kids-at-heart) at our party.
My contribution to our party will be a nice bottle of wine, the above deviled eggs, and a pot of my homemade Cajun Fish Chowder.
