The smell of new tires makes me really want to barf! I hate to go anywhere near them...and I can't go into an auto parts store....just makes me sick!

I think they're called Steak Ums - My DH likes them and when he used to cook them (luckily he doesn't eat them anymore), the smell would gag me. They smell awful.

Sulpher.
Even a hint of the smell of sulpher makes me horribly sick to my stomach and dizzy. I can even smell it when other's can't.

I once got sick and swore there was sulpher in the area. No sign of it, but later found out that the people next door to where I was visiting used well water to water their lawn, not city water, and the sprinkler was on when I was there.
Their well had sulpher water.

Carnival Smells. Concession Foods with Poop Smell. I can remember being grossed out when I was in first grade at the Circus.

The smell of blood and cheap rubber. Have smelled shoes and toys made of this rubber. It constantly smells like it's burning.

Bread. I cannot even think about going into a Subway for a sandwich nor opening up a loaf
of bread and smelling it. My stomach must do 100 flip flops just to think about it.

Warning - this will be gross. I live on 2.5 acres way out in the country. We have had gopher problems. We have had to set traps. I hate having to deal with emptying the traps especially after a few days in the ground. The smell of a dead rotten animal is something you will never forget. I have thrown up. Enough said.

I hate the smell of matches/sulfur and also bleach but I use it anyway.

When I toured China, the odor of wet fowl feathers, was prevelant particulary on a river boat cruise where they cooked in big oil like barrels, on the back of the boat.

So whenever I around that smell, reminds me of that trip! And how I got soooooooooo sick from eating Peking Duck, in restaurant, in Beijing, that really had that smell.

So answer WET FOWL FEATHERS!

When I worked I had a customer that came in every other day,and he always wanted to stay and chat.
He was a lovely person,but I would almost turn blue in the face holding my breath as much as I could.
Strong curry smells also make me turn green!

I hold my nose anytime I have to clean up vomit. Last month my 19 year old daughter threw up in the bathtub.

Perfume and fabric softeners. Allergic!
If someone sits down near me with perfume I have to move. Can't tell you how many times I've been chased out the door. Had to stand in the back at one sons college graduation, the stink of perfume was too much. Gave up on going to movies, church, theatre, etc. Just not worth not being able to breathe.

I'm with Socks12345, the smell of those Fly trap bags with liquid bait are the absolute worst smell. They really work, but the smell, uuuuugh; it's worse than dead animals.

Vomit is high up there on the list, too.

Blood; I can smell blood a mile away. It's so nauseating. Not to be indelicate, but I try to not be any where near new mothers for a month or more after a baby's birth. They can be clean and fresh and sweet and lovely, but I can smell "birth" for weeks. It's very disturbing and makes my stomach flip.

I really dislike the smell of deli meats. There's one particular shop that makes subs that I just cannot even enter the smell is so overwhelming.

cigarette smoke! Coming from a lit cigarette or on the clothes of someone who smokes, in a car of a smoker. The smell of a lit cigarette turns my stomach and flips the headache switch. I few seconds of cigarette smoke leaves me with a headache that lasts hours. Driving behind a car w/windows rolled down and a smoking driver will give me a headache. Of all the bad smells, it is the worst, IMO. So smokers, I'm sorry, you may be a perfectly pleasant person, I just have to keep my distance, I find the smell intolerable. It truly makes me physically ill.

Marilyns comment reminds me of going into the Hong Kong Market with our teenagers. One of them said "yuck, this smells like the worst dirty diaper I've ever smelled". That got a huge chuckle from all of us!

Chitterlings, the worst smell in the world. Can't imagine eating them.

I've tried for two days to think of something that really bothers me to add to this post...and can't honestly think of anything that i just can't tolerate...yeah some smells are awful...but I just remove myself from the smell...i don't think anything has ever made me physically sick...cleaning up dog vomit will make me gag...but i just turn away and finish the job...the alternative I couldn't live with..(not having doggies) and it's been awhile since I've had to do it...since we put the dog door in...they feel it coming on and run outside...(smart doggies)
