On your members page, you have Jan. 1st listed as your birthday. Is it really your birthday today, or do you do like some do, just list it to keep the day the world was blessed with your presence a secret??? If it is your special day, I truly hope you have a great day.

Actually I never entered a birthday so if there's one showing, it must have been put in by GW. Could be it's set up as a default now.

I used to have a lot of stuff on the member page, but there's so many around that have such thin skin they're offended by the least little thing. I decided it was better to make them work to be offended rather than blame something as innocuous as a member page! LOL

Thanks for the wishes and hope you and yours have a happy new year! Cold day here. I'm making sloppy joes! :)

I did do the google search, and this is how I found this forum. LOL...but I don't want to have to pay an appraiser. Just want to maybe get a ballpark figure to sell it at locally. don't want to cut anyone's wallet or my own in the process. I just can't find another like it online. :(

Do the wafers bond with the macaroons during baking? Yes Carol. They do the same with soft gingerbread cookies or Lebkuchen, honey cakes and the like. If you want to replicate your MIL's baked goods you need to use the wafers. 100 is not that many. Most recipes make at least 2 dozen of something or often 3 dozen. One hundred wafers is only 4 smaller batches. Plus most boxes have some breakage since the wafers are thin. Plus they can be used with just about any sticky drop cookies.

Not a pro. Just a suggestion: You could invest in a narrow "roofing" polycarbonate such as is used for greenhouses -- sold at Lowes and Home Depot as well. https://www.google.com/search?q=lowes+greenhouse+roofing+panels&client=firefox-b-1-d&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjliILQ-ePqAhVEgXIEHUJrD5IQ_AUoAnoECA0QBA&biw=1366&bih=654#imgrc=N4YV3NsDM4LL2M Dig down to a point below your shed wall and put that against your shed wall with the top of it to be ground level of your planting area. You could close the space between the greenhouse plastic and the (cleaned) side of the shed with clear Flex Tape. Then set a row of the same kind of pavers you are using to outline the rest of your planting area alongside the green house atop the top edge of the greenhouse plastic to outline the back of your planting area. Generally, keeping tops of pavers ground level makes for easier maintenance.

I guess that solves That mystery. I didn't know *the powers that be* did that. On my members page, they have my B'day listed wrong. When I try to correct it, I just get the run around. I decided to stop trying. It is real cold here up north, but to look out the window, it is a winter wonder land. The trees, even the power lines, are covered with beautiful white stuff. I can call it beautiful, because I don't have to shovel or plow it. LOL Happy New Year to you, also. I'm going to make a small pot roast for dinner. but your sloppy joes sound yummy.
