I left work today at noon so I could burn some tree prunings from the fruit trees and put up some woven wire fence to keep the new calves INSIDE the fence. It was too windy to burn, but I got the fence up, then came home and made stir fried chicken and broccoli in orange sauce with some rice:

And, this weekend when Elery and I went to Homegoods, I bought these "salad hands". Handpainted and made in the Philipines, they were unique. I don't eat much salad, but I like them and I broke my salad tongs, so I blew $4.95 and bought them:

So, that's my "kitchen gadget" budget for the year, blown. LOL.
