Yes the sun is brightly shining...BUT...it's darn cold out there anyway. It is 22 out there right now...but no wind.

I don't think I'll be out there raking the yard or anything...but I'll stay in here enjoying the bright sunshine coming through the windows. I'll bet my plants will enjoy it too.

The sun is shinning here in South Central Texas. We had a little rain this morning, but we are so dry that we need many inches! 2008 was one of the driest years in recorded history for our area.

It is 47° here right now at 11:30am and is supposed to be around 60° for a high.
Thursday should be close to 80°!!! Yes!

Here in my part of Ohio it's going to be a mixed bag. Freezing rain, then turn over to plain rain, then some snow tomorrow. It's been like this several times this season already....a trend. I'm lucky that I'm retired so I just watch the reports and plan my trips out accordingly.

Yes, it is shinning here in Oklahoma, central location. We could use some rain, but way down south, and west, still in Oklahoma is a pretty severe drought. I know, they would love some dreary days with rain.

To bad, it doesn't come down were needed most. That Mother Nature is a pickle!

Because you described my weather to a T. I have water standing in the yard. I made my usual mad dash to get the paper out of the driveway, and yesterday's mail from the box, and on to Hardee's for biscuit/sausage, large coffee.... and home again to hibernate until there is more room between the raindrops!

I am not really complaining. I lost a lot of plants during the dry dry summer a year or so ago.

Here in SW. Pa., it's just under 40 and raining...Some parts are starting to get freezing rain, so it's going to be a mess...Tomorrow colder and really cold for the weekend.....

It's a beautiful clear day here...and twenty below (up from 22 below zero). Down right balmy....(Eyes rolling).

In NE PA it's 26ú and snowing. It's supposed to turn to sleet later tonight, and then freezing rain towards morning. I don't have to go anywhere tomorrow, but I always worry about my kids' commute to work.

Had so much rain over the past 24 hours the geese are swimming around in rain ponds.

Kids went back to school today, so the house was peaceful. We've had 2 inches of rain the last 24 hours, a very even rain, not too hard, but constant. So, with the quiet empty house, dark skies, the sound of the rain on the roof/windows, and in the background my dryer running... I've had a hard time keeping my eyes open today! For a while I just gave in and let myself recover from the last two weeks of chaos. ;o)

Near Buffalo - sunny & about 30 most of the day; it started snowing lightly about 4pm; we are supposed to get freezing rain & sleet tonight. January in WNY - get used to it!

Predicted 20 above got about 4 above, now 4 below, some flurries in Minot (ND), expecting more tomarrow or Thur. Actually felt warm without the wind as we had the 20 below again day or so ago. Most roads good except in the towns and side roads. Now if people would only slow down.

just heard a couple of the local freeways/ramps are closed due to ice...snow is expected but who knows when...i just sprinkled some salt so dh doesn't take a header in the am...
