Bosch Dryers - Axxis+ (3510) vs 700 (6321)

We've had a Bosch Axxis+ (2460) washer and Axxis (3510) dryer for 4 years. We LOVE the way the washer washes, but the dryer has never been able to keep up. The wash loads always wait for the dryer, and even then things come out damp. We have learned to live with it, but now we want to move up to a large capacity washer & dryer. We have 4 cats, a dog, and a king bed, so we want to be able to wash comforters and bulky items with success (we've never been able to wash our comforters, and a pair of sheets sometimes needs to be broken into 2 loads). The 3510 has been looked at and the board has been replaced. The Bosch repair guys say it is working properly. We think the problem is that the dryer drum isn't much bigger than the washer tub.

Last Saturday we bought & had delivered, the LG 2487 steam washer and matching dryer. The dryer works very well, but the washer just doesn't compare to the Bosch in cleaning ability. We know we've only had them a few days, but we did catch up all the laundry - lots of loads - and tried different things. In particular is a set of sheets that we washed twice with oxiclean and pretreatment, and still there are ravioli stains we feel pretty sure would have come out in our Bosch. Also a set of white bathroom floor mats that have ALWAYs come perfectly clean in the Bosch, but not in the LG.

So now we're thinking maybe we should exchange the LG for the Bosch 700 set, which we haven't seen in person. We only have until January 30 to make an exchange.

Does anyone know whether or not the 500 or 700 series Bosch dryers will actually dry better than the 3510? Will the fact that it's got a larger capacity make a big difference? We don't want to fry our clothes by any means. I actually like my shirts now to be a bit damp. But we feel towels and socks should be dry by the time the next wash load finishes, especially considering most wash loads are 45 mintues or longer.

Any knowledge you can share will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks.
