look for embossed in register so it has the same texture as wood on the surface. this way it reflects light instead of the flat vinyl surface. make sure its 6mm thick or more. try to scratch it with your key and see how it does. paradigm conquest is 8-9mm, with embossed in register. buy a box and lay it out. paradigm conquest also has 12-14 unique boards which is a lot for vinyl flooring. when your looking at vinyl try to avoid distinct strips or wood knot images that will allow you to see the repeat. A distinct knot that repeats every 14 boards will still draw the eye, "there it is again:. good luck
