The Mr. Clean erasers really do work, but since you have already tried painting over it you might not get the same results. I would try the eraser and if that doesn't get it, then I'd use the Kilz. The bad thing about painting over the crayon is that it can sometimes leave the pattern since you've got the waxy ridge. Gloria

Thanks for your help. When I didn't get an answer by Sunday morning I decided it was better to try something than to let the crayon continue to sit on the fabric. So I sprayed with Spray and Wash, let sit overnight and washed in the washing machine in cold water (because of the type fabric) and it came completely clean. Beverly

Back in college, we had rented a house where the prior tenants were serious "deadheads". The lyrics to just about every Grateful Dead song were written with marker on the bathroom and hallway walls. As part of a good deal on the rent, we agreed to take care of it for our landlord. So I primed with latex "stain blocking" primer. And I painted. And painted, and painted. Coat after coat after coat. It would look like it was covering, but the next day, those d*** lyrics would magically reappear -- it was like the spirit of Jerry Garcia himself was haunting our bathroom. After about 7 coats, I finally gave up and went crying to the guys at the hardware store. They gave me a quart of Kilz oil base and a disposable brush. One coat and those lyrics were gone gone gone for good. No more "driving my train high on cocaine" when I looked up while in the shower. Phew! So as much as you don't want to stink up the bedroom, there are some things that you just need to break out the big guns for. If you hadn't already painted over it, I would say that crayola has a good "how to clean our products off almost everything" website that has saved my butt (well, technically, my kids' butts) more than once. But since you've already covered it with layers of paint, I don't think you'll be able to clean it. So at this point, I'd return the valspar because it didn't do what it claimed, buy yourself a quart of regular old oil-based kilz and a disposable brush (or, if the area isn't too big and you can do it without making a mess, a can of kilz in spray paint form - that would be your cheapest option) and cover over the offending spots. Red, Mine went out in the mail today, so you'll have them tomorrow or the next day....I also included the brown strings and 2 lotto blocks...I drive them crazy at our PO.... AND, when I mailed that package, I picked up my flag blocks...What a treat, gorgeous blocks, ladies! Dorothy
