Congratulations! Must feel good to have that decision made. We are doing almost exactly the same. The last 3 are the same and our sizes are the same for the range and fridge, although I'm still driving myself crazy over those :)

I think people's attitudes about getting/making recovery disks are like getting extended warranties for purchased goods: some want it always, some don't care. For me, having a recovery sector is enough. If more is desired, I think Crafty's comment about making your own (or making a disk image) is reasonable and easy enough to do. There's certainly no harm done. In 25 years of using and owning a few dozen machines, I've never needed to recover from a disaster or disk failure. You can interpret that two ways - you could say that shows that recovery planning is mostly unnecessary (I've got files backed up redundantly), or you might say I'm overdue for a disaster and it'll happen to me any day now.

Sounds like a very nice package! Our last house we built (last year) I went with the monogram line as well (cook-top with griddle, oven & advantium oven, dishwasher) I really, really liked the monogram (LOVED the advantium once I figured it out!) I think they are a great product. We are starting a new build, but this is a different house and I decided to go with the GE Profile line instead. This round - I am not getting a gas cook-top. Although I LOVE the look, we don't cook much, and I hated cleaning it and keeping it clean, so I am going with the induction cook-top. I am sure you'll love your appliances!

Those are all very pretty colors. Did you do the poster board samples? I ask because the colors you've chosen can be tricky when put in a room with say certain other colors that can reflect off of them. Normally, and I'm not saying you have to do this, but it is usually recommended that you chose the 3rd from the lightest on a color sample. I notice Everlasting and Limestone are second from the lightest. Let me just mention my experience in picking too light a color on my sample card and not doing the poster board samples around the room. I was trying to paint the walls a mauve (keep in mind this was 20 years ago, LOL). Well, I thought I found the right "mauve" just by looking at the sample strip and chosing 2nd. from the bottom. To me the 3rd. one up looked too dark. Well, I put that mauve on the wall and honey it turned out to be light baby pink. The worst part was, I had to live with those pink walls in my living room and den for a few years. I decorated around them, but I know everyone who came in my house had that one question on their mind "what was she thinking?" LOL Whenever I screw up something I just try to pass that experience on to someone else just in the off chance they too could end up with my version of mauve. Hope you don't mind the extra advice, just trying to help.
