Now, view1ny, I'm not saying you should go hog wild or anything...but...I'm trying to do my part to bolster the flagging rose nurseries and economy, lol! Vettin, we got the little greenhouse at ACO Hardware but I also know it's available at Spray-n-grow's web site and other places. I don't know what you mean by a shady overhang. There is a standard overhang along our wall but it does get full sun (what little there is in winter here) all day. I do dig out under performers and pot them up to see if they'll improve and replace them with newer or stronger ones. I'm terrible at shovel pruning. I figure if they manage to live through the winter who am I to toss them out. I have a soft heart. But if something is still a dog after going in a pot, out it goes. BTW, I have written a couple papers on how I do all the rose pots and winterizing. If anyone is interested in either of them I can email them to you.

I am trying to pull together the last few details for our kitchen remodel. One thing I haven't decided on was the handle for the pull out pantry cabinet. It sits next to the french door paneled fridge. I have 18" handles from top knobs on the three door panels. I am wondering how much handle is really necessary and comfortable to open these type of cabinets. I have a small kitchen and this will be my main pantry so I will be in and out of it frequently. It is 17" wide-Any suggestions or pics would be greatly appreciated? Thanks

I just got a 2.0 rating from a customer out of a possible 5 with a note that I "was not very neat." Before I would begin this job, I informed the customer that I had no way of preventing removed pool grout from falling into the pool. Since he did not want the expense to drain and refill his pool, he assured me repeatedly that he had state-of-the-art pool filtration and that the sunken grout would be no problem whatsoever. I hosed off his pool deck at completion; he made no complaints, was very pleased, and paid in full. What the hell else could I do? Write the warning in the blood of his first born male child? Print it on his forehead? I told him what would happen, he told me not to worry, it happened just as I predicted and he wants to second-guess. Arrruuuggggg!!!
