She checked in here several weeks ago when people questioned her whereabouts. She said she'd been traveling, & had been very busy at work too. Before she completely dropped out, she seemed to gradually cut down on her time here, saying that from her computer it was becoming very time-consuming to log in to GW.

Personally, I'm worried about Parma! She's been gone for quite a while, & she was such a permanent fixture here. Unless she was traveling, she never seemed to miss a day posting here. Now she's just gone poof! I just hope she's okay. Her sudden & complete disappearance seems really strange to me.

I was wondering about her and also Parma, where did she go? Remember Brutuses, what happened to her?

Parma went to Italy often with her husband on his business trips, but she always eventually came back to GW! It's been a really long time since I've seen her post. Even if she moved to Italy, she could still check in here!

Jen seems to have disappeared about the time she and another poster had a tiff about something - I can't remember what it was about. I miss her.

She went to Mexico for a couple of weeks. I've seen her posts on the TripAdvisor forums. Sounds like she had a wonderful time.

And what about Reno Fan? I miss her thrift store finds and renovations.

And what happened to Bellaflora, she always was in here decorating her house like crazy.

You asked where Brutuses is, I correspond with her each day and she did move to her lovely new house and she's fine. I will tell her that several people were asking about her over here.

People take breaks or make themselves scarce and chime in once in a while,

monablair, how are things going, I haven't noticed your new posts or updates about your progress after surgery in a while.

Renofan was going through something with one of her kids and then got divorced. There was also a thread she started that went really bad and she got very frustrated. Last she posted she bought a new house on her own and was going to renovate it, I was looking forward to seeing her transform it, but I think she just got so disgusted with some posters on here she never came back.

I miss auntjen, too, and also asked about her a few weeks ago. It's not like her to stay away this long. I'm hoping those remarks posted several weeks ago that texanjana mentioned isn't the cause of her disappearance.

I've missed her too and hope she is ok.

I remember Jen saying that she was having problems with getting on the GardenWeb site.

susan209, please tell brutuses that I say hello and that I hope that she is doing well. I so loved her home. She has such great taste.

I also was following Brutuses home, tell her hello, susan209. I was so looking forward to renofan's newest accomplishments to her new home, and I enjoy reading auntjen's colorful view on decor and life! Also miss squirrel's mockups, and haven't seen 3dogs for awhile.

Thank you so much for asking about me - I had no idea I was missed, but someone was kind enough to email me and direct me to this thread. It's really nice to know that others have noticed my absence. :-)

I still have trouble accessing this site from my work computer, and no amount of cache/cookie clearing seems to make it run any faster. My work responsibilities have recently changed somewhat and things are much more hectic than they used to be in the office, so I just don't have as much time to try to get the Home Dec forums to load so that I can post.

We've also been in Puerto Vallarta - heavenly, as always, and I always return home trying to figure out if we could really make a "go" of moving down there permanently. For the moment, it remains only a dream - but perhaps someday we'll be able to be there at least more than a couple of weeks at a time.

I haven't been too focused on home decor over the past few months, with work being so busy, traveling, and getting back to being a "gym rat." I have a feeling, though, that as cooler Fall temps roll around I'll become more inwardly focused and will likely go back to nesting mode at home.

As for the little tiff that happened awhile back, I honestly can't even remember what it was over, or what was said. I certainly hope nobody would harbor a grudge against me for anything I've posted here in the past.
