Saturday Update On Bradley-2 y/o w/ Brain cancer pic

He just woke up last evening for the first time since brain surgery on Tuesday/Wednesday morning. This is from her CarePage just a while ago:

"he has been up and down all night in pain...they are giving him pain meds. not complaining, but he was up every hour crying. He doesn't understand why he is here and what is going on."

The Dr. has decided that they will do more surgery on him on Monday. They feel they can get more of the cancer from all the scans they have taken.

He and his family need all the prayers and positive thoughts that you can share.

I swear I was JUST NOW thinking about him and was about to post asking for an update!! It breaks my heart that he's having to go through all this, and isn't even old enough to understand WHY! Something like this would be almost too much for an adult that does understand. Poor baby!!

He and his Family are in my Prayers.

Oh, I'm so very sorry for what this precious little guy is going through. I pray they have a successful out come and he is a rambunctious two year old again. Dottie

My husband was in michigan this week and that was one of the flights he thought about taking on thursday night. He flies a lot and it just hit close to home. Clarence is not far from where we live. We are a little more out in the country. Big sigh of relief. When the news came on at 10pm they announced at the end of the broadcast that a plane had crashed by the airport, but they didn't know anything yet. By the time the 11pm news came on, it was not until after the weather that their news crews made it to the neighborhood and they announced it was a commercial plane. WIVB broadcast without commercial break until I went to bed at 2am. When my husband called to say he was alright i was so grateful. (wipes tears and sniffles) Fran, Could i have the blanket flower, please? BTW, DS#3 watered my keyboard once, its still a little iffy. We set it in from of the blower on the woodstove for a week. Just FYI those of you sowing in the keys LOL! Thank all of you for the prayers. Families here are esp. close knit and things like this are difficult for anyone. Praying for your FIL, too Nichol. When I returned from delivering the mail today, a package was waiting at my case for me, and what a package! Lorraine (paradisa) sent a wonderful package to me! So nice, that I had to take pictures so I could share them with you all! When I opened up my box, I found another box wrapped in blue tissue with a white bow. Once I had that open, there were a lot of smaller packages, all wrapped up in blue tissue with white ribbons. One of my co-workers watched while I opened up everything, and she kept saying how good of a time SHE was having, just watching me open up everything! Well, here are a couple of pictures of the box, which Lorraine sent for me to keep seeds in... and here's a picture of everything with the box opened up... And now, let me tell you what was inside this wonderful box! First, Lorraine sent a lot of stuff, including the see box, which had a wolf theme. I love wolves, consider them my totem, and love what she sent! Now, here's what was inside this box! a CD by Jim Gaffigan, a comedian, so I can relax and have a few laughs. I've already listened to some of this CD, and it really is funny! a peacock feather (don't know why, but very cool!) a wonderful card package of 25 plant labels dehydrated tomatoes (I'll use these in my cooking) homemade strawberry jam 2 packs of seed envelopes a small wolf notebook wolf-themed calendar/checkbook cover wolf bookmark medium-sized wolf-themed notebook 11 different types of tomato seeds nasturtium mix double-click cosmos white brown-eyed susan vine chinese lanterns yellow clasping coneflower cosmos - bright lights cosmos - orange fluted cosmos - tall yellow cosmos - picotee calendula toothache plant geum trifloreum morning glories nemophilia - penny black rose seeds (I've been wanting to try to grow roses from seeds!) gomphrena hardy pink hibiscus (from Lorraine's hibiscus) blue sweet peas fan fare gallardia this box was incredible! Morning.. Joke for the day (ps my mother sent me this) ROSES & HANGING BASKETS A teenage granddaughter comes downstairs for her date with this see-through blouse on and no bra. Her grandmother just pitched a fit, telling her not to dare go out like that! The teenager tells her 'Loosen up Grams. These are modern times. You gotta let your rose buds show!' and out she goes. The next day the teenager comes down stairs, and the grandmother is sitting there with no top on. The teenager wants to die. She explains to her grandmother that she has friends coming over and that it is just not appropriate.... The grandmother says, 'Loosen up, Sweetie. What an adorable little boy. I will continue prayers for him and his family.

My nephew was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor when he was 6 months old. They operated when he was about 4, but couldn't get all the tumor. Long story short...he just celebrated his 20th birthday last October. "Thy will be done".

Boy this is a cruel world. He is absolutely adorable and doesn't deserve to go thru all this. I hope he has a full recovery and doesn't remember what he's been through.

It breaks my heart that Bradley has yet another surgery. I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers. A few years ago I worked with a young woman in her 20s who had a malignant brain tumor as a child. When I knew her she was cancer free and a college grad.

Prayer just said that God will ease Bradley's pain and guide the surgeons hands on Monday to successfully remove ALL traces of cancer from this precious child.

He's so cute. I hate he has to go through another surgery but it will be worth it if they can get the rest of that horrible cancer out of his little body.

I hope this next surgery is a success! So much for one so little to bear - thanks for giving us a face to concentrate on when praying/sending good thoughts. He's a cutie:-)

It breaks my heart when I hear these things,I know how hard it is for me with tests,surgery etc I cant imagine how a child feels,I at least got to live my life they havent yet.

This honestly breaks my heart, and being a mom makes that emotion so much more intense. I cannot imagine what he and his parents are going through. The poor sweet, beautifuly baby.
