What you are really asking for is a completely new pattern based on the dress, which would require knitting a sample. In all honesty, this is a big job. Even in a toddler size, I'd expect to take about a week to knit a dress like this, with all the interruptions to take notes and rewrite the original pattern. What features about the dress particularly appeal to you? Maybe you can find a similar toddler dress and just incorporate those features. Annie

This is called Pattern Grading. If you can get a hold of a copy of Fit for Real People by Palmer Pletsch, there is a clear explanation of the basic principle and some nice diagrams. This won't be a step-by-step tutorial, but would give you an idea what you'd be getting into. If you are a detail person and don't mind time-consuming precise work, you may just succeed, but it's not something to attempt if you are short of time or inclined to be approximate with measurements! What size is your window?? If it is large you prob should take it to a Kinko's etc.. They have the means to resize pix and doesn't take much time to do it. I'm not a computer whiz, but not sure you'll be able to size it too big. May be wrong tho. One of the other members may be able to help. Good luck. Post a pic ok?

Beautiful picture! What are you using to print it with? I tried it with Windows Print Wizard and it printed exactly at 7x5. That would be 7" across and 5" up & down...is that what you are trying for? I am using XP, and I assume you have VISTA, so I don't know if the Print Wizard is different, but I will go through how I did it. I right clicked on the file (I saved it from here) and selected PRINT. I clicked NEXT until I go to the window that said LAYOUT SELECTION and I chose 5x7. It rotated and cropped the print automatically and printed it perfectly without cutting anything off (although I think it may have cropped just a slight amount off - as the dimensions on the picture I saved aren't a true 5x7). Then I just clicked next to continue through the print wizard until the photo printed. I chose to print 1 picture, but you can have it print two 5x7 on one page if you want...just put 2 in the number of copies to print at the bottom of the LAYOUT SELECTION window.
