Carrier Infinity - Eval Quote / Correct System?

We have received several quotes on replacing our existing systems in our home. Our home is about 2200 square feet, 2 story located in Charlotte area of NC. We have seperate upstairs/downstairs systems. Current systems are way past due on replacement: downstairs furnace & AC are 15-20 years old, upstairs AC is 15-20, furnace is about 10 years. We have been told that downstairs heat & AC need to be replace and upstairs AC but we could probably go without replacing the upstairs furnace for a few more years if we wanted. After getting several brand quotes, we found Carrier to be the best value but are trying to decide on which system if the best performance for the value. Here is what we were quoted:

exchanger.

We think the all Infinity system is the way to go because our upstairs is the hardest part of the house to keep temp controlled, we plan on staying in the house for at least 5-10 years (thus the replacing the upstairs furnace now) and live in a very humid climate 3/4 of the year (heat is on maybe late Sept thru late Feb/early March) but the 14K pricetag is just outside our budget but we could make it work and think we can get them down to the 13K range.

Please let me know your thoughts as I am very HVAC challenged! :)

Thanks!
