Beyonce's baby was born

I won't say she had her baby, because I believe she was never pregnant and had the baby via surrogate. I don't think there's anything wrong with that, for whatever her reasons, just don't fake a pregnancy and pretend you carried the baby. There was a video of her on some talk show when she was supposedly about 6 months, and when she went to sit down the "baby bump" folded in. I've been pregnant twice before, I know that baby bump is a solid area and doesn't fold. Oh, the life of a celebrity.

I'm sure there's no way to "fake" a pregnancy. I'd love to see photos of her new baby.

I'm SO sad....2 days after the birth,unfortunately the mother died from a bacterial infection. I began hand rearing the 5 kits,but now only 1 remains with us ... I have positive thoughts that this one will survive. wish me luck :(

You can give your children all the things you want to by setting a plan and living the plan. For example, if you have a goal of 2 kids, paying for college and then giving them this gift, funding your own retirement. How much of your salary should you be saving to achieve these goals, what is your assset allocation in your investment portfolio -- that's what you have to work at. Figuring out whether to put the $ in the child's name vs your own is quite beside the point.

We presume this birth was via natural labor. Wouldn't many babies born via a planned Caesarian also have the 'caul' intact, or do they break the sac prior to operating?

Betty, It is interesting how you bring up culture. In a lot of Scandinavian countries, for example, nearly 100 percent of women at least start out breastfeeding their babies. I think the US is somewhere in the middle. Like Adella said, not everyone will "squirt." I do only when my milk lets down, which is usually painful because there is so much. Although my big eater has learned to accommodate this and doesn't choke so much early in a feeding like he used to - it was just coming out too fast for him. Pumping/using both breasts will increase milk production, like Linda said. And not all babies want both breasts - at first mine was satisfied with just one and now that he's getting bigger, wants both, it seems. If he is latching on well your DIL's nipples won't be sore (or at least minimally) and most of the areola (around the nipple) will not show. As long as he has at least six good wet diapers in 24 hours you know he's getting enough (not to mention plenty of poops!). You will also hear the baby swallowing. I believe she is faking her pregnancy too. Why did they have to pay one million dollars for a whole floor in the hospital....for her to give birth ???? strange isn't it...I guess they want to keep it a secret that the baby girl was born to a surrogate mother....who knows? It will definitely come out for sure...you can't hide secrets these days....

To hog a whole floor in a hospital is the epitome of an ego out of control and total selfishness. Stupid!!! I don't care if she popped the kid out or someone else did it. People like these so-called celebs turn my stomach.

I saw a video of the "bending" bump and it looks like it's the fabric of her dress to me. I remember a few years ago when the internet was convinced that Katie Holmes wasn't actually pregnant either.

As for renting the entire floor, it's excessive, sure, but when you have to worry non-stop about paparazzi, and fans who might sneak in, and any unprofessional hospital workers trying to get pictures of you and your new baby to sell to tabloids, I don't think it's entirely unreasonable. I don't blame them for wanting to avoid that. Everyone is entitled to privacy when their child is born, whether they give birth or not, and depending on the circumstances, some need more extreme measures than others. They are extremely famous, and pictures would be worth a LOT of money and people have been known to do crazy and dangerous things to get those pictures.

People fake pregnancies all the time, Jannie.

Chi83, a pregnant belly doesn't bend like that. It's solid as a rock. Especially on someone who doesn't have a lot of excess in the area. She is pretty fit and toned.

There are plenty of celebrities who give birth at Cedars Sanai in LA who don't feel the need to hog a whole floor for their privacy. Somehow their privacy is maintained from the paps.

I know what a pregnant belly looks like. It still looks like the dress to me on the video that I saw.

If you're going to blame someone, blame the hospital for agreeing to it. It's their responsibility to manage it and other patients - they could have easily said no or asked them to go elsewhere. I don't blame the parents for wanting as much privacy as possible.

I have had my doubts that she was pregnant since the talk show incident. Surrogacy has become so common place, so I don't know why she would hide that and not realize that somehow, someway, someone will find out the truth. Which ever way the baby was convceived and born, I wish them all well.

Well, I'm not in awe of this or any other so-called celeb, as some. I wonder where other people who needed to be hospitalized were sent because this person.....who SEEKED the fame, "needed" her privacy. This person is no better (or worse) than anyone else. In my opinion she knew this little tidbit about the hosp would get out...to get more publicity.

Wow. This turned into a bit of a hot topic. It wouldn't surprise me a bit if she hired a surrogate. I didn't watch the video, only saw the pictures and it certainly seems like she wasn't really pregnant. My real thoughts are why rent a hole floor. That's really weird to me. BTW - I do like some of her music but certainly not all.
