Happy 1st Birthday Camryn!!

My baby girl is one today! I honestly cannot believe that it's been a year. It feels like she was just born yesterday, literally.

She's been such a joy this year. She's a really good, happy girl. She's changing so much lately, and it's so fun to watch. Grant LOVES her and is so protective over her when we're out and he sees someone try to even talk to her. It's cute.

OOPS!!! Sorry I didn't know that about Jan. 1 being "everybody's" birthday, if a specific date isn't given. Oh well, Happy Birthday, whenever it is. :>) Mwoods, your statement about each year bringing "joy, laughter, and some tears" is so true. None of us ever knows what's ahead for us. But, as my DH says, "It's been a trip, but I wouldn't change any of it!"

Haley, that sounds like SUCH a nice idea! And that's one of my favourite Veggie Tales songs.... from Madame Blueberry, yes? :) Bearcat, we kept ours simple, too. 1 year olds generally get overwhelmed quickly. For Sophie we had a few friends/relatives over for a visit, dinner and cake. With Benjamin, we went and played at Chuck E. Cheese for an hour or so (just the 4 of us and his 2 grandmas) and then had cake at home. Oliver's getting even less for his first... this year we're planning on doing a joint party for all three kids, since their birthdays are all very close. Backyard potluck barbeque with 5 or 6 families with games and stuff. We're going to request that instead of presents, the guests bring a dish to contribute to the meal. Sorry, that was absolutely useless as far as creative ideas go. :) Really, whatever you do will be fun for him. 1 year olds are so easy to please! Just take bazillions of pictures. Wow, girl, I can't belive your still around! Sorry your still on this site where no one else is! I'm so glad to see Johnny is doing so well, my son, Tom, turned one on June 21st and is doing exactly all the same things Johnny is, aren't they great! Like I had told you last time I talked to you, I'm pregnant again, now 6 and half months along! Getting pretty big! My husband has since became a stay at home dad and it's working great, he's teaching Tom so many things, every afternoon when I get home, he's always got something new to show me that he has learnd that day :) Hey, keep in touch, we all miss you!
