freeze ups with radiant heat

I'm doing a total renovation on a historic house in Maine. My heating system will be Viessman 200 boiler (propane hot air). In the bathrooms, however, I am considering radiant installed with panels to subfloor (Either Viega or WIRSBO Quik Trak which I think are both pretty much the same product). The basement is 4 foot crawl space with all new foundation but not heated. Question is this: If we loose power in the Winter do I run the risk of the water in the radiant system freezing/causing damage? Do I also loose the option of adding anti-freeze to my system to avoid freeze ups? This is a second home and I may not be there very often in Winter. Perhaps I should avoid radiant for this reason? Would appreciate any advise.
