Thursday's tip- it's pretty cheesy!

When buying Feta cheese, it's more economical to buy it UNcrumbled in the block- same size container, more cheese for the money. But then you have to crumble it yourself and I've found the best way to do that is to drag a clean fork over the surface of it while it's still in the plastic container, in a cross-hatch pattern. You'll get the nicest little even-sized crumbles that you can then push out of the container and onto your salad or whatever you're making. If you want larger chunks, dig the tines of the fork into it a bit and twist.

This makes a block of cheese last a lot longer, at least in our house!

Got a tip? Add it here. :)
