And I didn't read any of the Imus thread because I don't even like to think about him - he's inane. However someone mentioned in the gratitude thread that the moderators had 'cleaned up' some of the threads. Could that account for some of the other missing ones?

McMann, that one's gone too. When you mentioned Strahle St. I realized that you were in my delivery area. At the time, R & L Pizza at Verree & Oxford. It's still there but with a new name.

Tom- I think I'll have to tune in next week. As a former Philly resident I'd love to see those PPA ticket writers take on the double and triple parked cars in South Philly. Or those people who think it's perfectly fine to park in the middle of the street (at least they're not double parked).
And since it's winter do you think they'll go after all those drivers who shovel the snow from their cars, and then put out lawn cars in the street to 'save' their space until they get back home. I remember a few years ago one guy actually shot his neighbor because the neighbor took his parking spot.

Ah - those were the good old days, parking on the streets in Philadelphia. I used to live in NE Philly too. Our apartment was on Strahle Street and I worked at the Northeast Regional Library on Cottman. Now that I'm in the suburbs I have my own driveway.

Ah, memories. I used to live on South Broad Street where cars were parked in the middle of the street. I've never seen that anywhere else.
