I'm sure everybody's heard about the pistachio recall by now. I'm still debating what to do? About a month ago, I made a batch of granola & used a lot of pistachios because they are DH's favorite granola addition (along with pumpkin seeds). It's been in the freezer ever since. We're still finishing off a previous batch.
What a PITA to go thru & pick out every pistachio! I bought them from Whole Foods but I don't think that matters since this article says that 99.9% of all US pistachios come from this single facility.
Would you pick them all out, or just eat them? For some idea of quantity...I made the granola with 2 tubs of Quaker Oats & 1 tub of Quaker Multi-Grain plus lots of dried fruits & seeds so there's a LOT of granola...six months worth.
