Can I REFREEZE chix stock in new dish?

I know it's not good to thaw and then refreeze food, but today I used some chix stock that I had frozen to cook some black beans, which I then put in the freezer. Now I am wondering if this is bad practice. My stuff freezes quickly enough, as the largest container that I package food into is 5 cup Glad containers, but I am concerned that I am violating a food safety rule, which of course I don't want to do :-)

Anyone know if this is an OK practice? Thanks!

Joanna
