Great woodpecker! We have one that comes to our suet feeder a few times a day...the cats LOVE to watch it flit around the feeder!

Wanda, that's a GREAT shot, and I love everybody's cats. Cats are one of nature's prize photo ops. Oh, yeah, birds, too. . . .. :-)

I'm still photographing my grandmother's spoon collection. This one is engraved Sextette 1890 ~ 1891 inside the bowl. On the other side are engraved the names of six men.

A pigeon. Once you get past the fact that they are dirty birds, you can really see the beauty in them.

Beautiful Casey! There are some rainbow colored pigeons in Dallas and you wouldn't know they have any color at all unless you get close to them.

Great pictures today!

We have two pairs that have stayed outside our kitchen window all winter. If i happen to let the feeder go empty they will sit on window ledge and peck on window. There so use to us they never fly away even when we go right up to window.
