Where to start, where to start....

Janson (who was a mere 8 year old when I started at the KT was just accepted to Penn State for the fall. I cried like crazy... I'm so darn proud of that kid. He plans to study psychology and go for his doctorate. (We'll see how much that changes over the years)

Cason is patiently waiting to hear back from his colleges. He wants to do something in the computer field but he hasn't narrowed it down yet. I'm so excited to check the mail everyday.

Samantha is on the Junior Varsity basketball team at school and they have 2 more games to win and then they will have had an undefeated season.

Summer has a dance recital coming up and is soooo excited. She's 10 now. (She was a newborn when I started here)

I'm back in school so I can eventually earn my Bachelor's degree in nursing. I'm exhausted all the time and I can't say much for the state of my home but other than that, I'm ok.

I do read here regularly but not much time to post! Miss you all!

Hi Happy, Hopefully, the experts on the forum will look at the photos and give advice. In the meantime, I looked at the photos. It does appear that there was some type of chemical cleaning spray used in the office that may have gotten onto your plants. Would it be possible that there was a janitorial service that came in over the holiday break and did some spray cleaning? Suggest you might want to wash off the leaves and carefully dry them. Were there any blooms on the plants? Also, is there any possibility that the night cleaning crew is going around and watering your plants without your knowledge? That happened in my office. Once we realized what was going on, we asked the office cleaners not to water the AV personal plants. Perhaps you can take them home to recover if you have a place to isolate them. They don't look like goners. The spots seem isolated, like some chemical sprayed on them. But I am no expert. Glad you posted the photos to ask the Forum. Just one other thought, does the office use any pesticide? I discovered that a lot can go on in an office at night, the plants will be the first tell-tale sign of chemical usage. Joanne

Talley Sue, I feel your pain. After remodeling our kitchen I chose a middle-end self-cleaning electric stove. I can't believe how hot to the touch the top gets. So much harder to clean too. I will have to try some of the above suggestions. I HATE to cook on the darn thing because it's so hard to clean up. Next kitchen remodle will consist of a microwave and vending machines only ;) To think I gave up my almond-colored 18 yr old, still working, stove. Now I know how my Mom felt two years ago when she had to give up her 1949 Tappan. Still working perfectly and in beautiful like-new condition! They sure don't make stuff like they did in the "old days" LOL

Light green grass in all my patched spots

I patched some bare spots last year with some seed I bought at Ace Hardware in a large bin. It came up a little lighter green than what I had but I thought it was because it was new. This year all the spots are coming up with light green and beige/white blades mixed in.(The grass looks like the picture in the post that is titled "light green grass-help") Could I have gotten poa trivialis seeds in with the other? If so I want to get rid of it ASAP.

Chess, did the dehumidifiers remove the spores that were already there? Or will I have to have professional come in and then get a dehumidifier to correct the problem? -I guess I just got used to the humidity since I live in South Florida and never noticed it in the room. Thank you for your help!
