Here's an interior shot of some church in downtown Montreal.
I first tried the shot with a flash and didn't think the picture would turn out. So I then took this using my mini tripod, and a several second exposure, and when the picture was developed, I got this:

Welcome back Casey, regarding the "too big to get in one photo" I have become a fan of a free program named Hugin, that works really well to stitch together a number of images into a larger panorama. The second photo in my Monday post was stitched using that program from three photos. I really like that the program is intelligently interactive rather than fully automated -- It does as much of the work for you that it can, and shows you what the results will be, and then allows you to adjust various settings before generating the output image.

Bob that's Notre Dame Basilica in Old Montreal - impressive church, I saw it a couple of years ago. I have a panorama program, just too lazy to use it, LOL. Here's a pic I took of that church.

I have used other programs, and they were either too simple (they could only handle horizontal panoramas with the images already in order) or too automated (where you give it the images and the program comes back with "here's the result" or "I encountered an error, no image for you")

Here's a Montreal skyline from the same trip that I created using that program. It took maybe 5 minutes of work, and 2 minutes waiting for it to process.

Passing a church in Scotland

Brookdale Lodge in Brookdale, CA. Went there about 15 years ago for a Mother's Day brunch. It is a very old place, built 1890, that is supposedly haunted. Kind of cool with a stream running through the dinning room. It is closed now because of a fire in 2009. Here is an old post card.
